Man, Bolt was saving his best for this final and would've won by 3 meters or so... Wouldn't have broken his WR but only because of the headwind. Likely would've ran around a 9.70 - 9.75 area... which into a headwind is ridiculous, but Bolt back then WAS ridiculous. 🔥🔥🔥 No problem tho, one Jamacian out the other steps up for Gold..lol
Nobody could know that informations. Also Bolt was not at all in shape for a 9.70 and you can completely tell that because of facts (just look at all his 100 meters result that year). Nonetheless -1.4 headwind is not ridiculous. Justin Gatlin ran a close chrono to this one 9.93 with a 10.08 with -2.3, which starts to be ridiculous headwind. Anyway he probably would’ve won it but not with a chrono of 9.70
@@giovannitocco Lol... you never look at Bolt's previous races on a Championship year. He always saved his best for the Championships and he was ABSOLUTELY in 9.7 form in 2011. Lol😂😅😂
@@giovannitoccowhat do you mean he wasn’t in shape for a 9.7 when he ran a 19.40 in the 200. Clearly he was in great shape back then. I believe he would have ran a low 9.7 hack even 9.6x if the conditions were right
This vibe in the stadium after the race should be the definition of anticlimax. Could hear people literally shriek in horror when they saw it was Bolt that false started🤣🤣
Yohan Blake moved a little bit and that may have helped to distract Bolt and he exploded out of the blocks ealier. That makes all the difference to us, even a discrete movement.
I am not being a hater here but this was one time when Bolt let success go to his head. It's visible here while other players were concentrating on race , he was engaging with the crowds. His over-confidence couldn't have been more apparent...
At least Blake got a chance to win gold
Usain Bolt disliked this video.

Lmao look at Daniel Bailey during the foul. He's more concerned for Bolt.
That's because Bailey is Bolt's training partner along with Blake
No it’s because Bailey (in lake 2) false started as well (took off same time as Bolt) but lucky he didn’t get caught😂. Look @ 7:30
Something tells me that in this race bolt would have broken that 9.58 record
Not into a headwind
He would've run 9.80 at best, because of the wind
Not into a -1.4 m/s headwind he wasn't.
@@quentin1016 yall 😭
guys I think there was headwind

Blake was almost at last in the race
He only had an average starts but wasn’t last at all. Around 5th or 6th, anyway after 40 meters was already in front.
So no one noticed that Yohan flinched in the blocks causing Bolt to false start?
Dummy Bolt caused himself to false start. Why did the guy next to Blake not false start aswell with that logic?

Bolt gave Blake the championship. THat's what friends and teammates do for each other.
Gave him? Lol hell nah.
Yohan blake 2011 9.92 🥇
Justin gatlin 2017 9.92🥇

I think he was trying to live up to the expectations everyone has for him… can’t blame him if it gets to his head
hes always doing that, not necessarily overconfidence, just being casual and trying not to let the pressure get to you
That’s how he prepares for his races, in his interviews he states interacting with ppl helps his nerves.

Where is gatlin when you need him most 🤣😂
I don't understand. Didn't Gatlin win the world title in 2017 with the same winning time? So glad Blake won a world title.
