I want to look like her as part of not looking lame with a ponytail tied on my head. A lot of young women did wear their hair like Dorothy without being bullied or teased.

The Braids go down to her cheeks or a little past the ears, than the bows, and then the loose curls. And Jay Dubbs, she had the same hairstyle till the Emerald City, the problem was back then the studio's continuity was very lapsed, that's why her hair goes from different fine curls to loose curls, to long braids halfway to her waist like in the book, ot halfway up her shoulders like in the scarecrow scenes. Then when she gets to the Emerald City its loosed out and in ringlets with a bow and a french bun on top.

Actually she had two hairstyles in the movie the braids were during the black and white part of the movie, and but she also had ringlets or spiral curls in the colorized part of the movie.
