Looks like a bunch of fun! We need to do the wildlife drive next time we are down in that area. And, you have to watch out for the Waggs, they are a bad influence....🤣
So far I have not been tossed off the scooter...so I would say a good influence....but the minute I crash I am going to change my tune. Haha. The Apopka wildlife drive is really cool....no need to go the the everglades to see tons of gators....we literally saw about 50. And its free minus the truck wash needed after.
We love your video's they are just getting better and better. We have wintered the last two years in Sanlan RV resort in Lakeland just down the road, enjoying it so heading back in January 24 for about 3 months. I know from watching our subscribed UA-camr's that it's no easy task to put them together but please keep them coming they are very good! I wanted to go to the Tampa RV show but my wife said not to because we would wind up with a new one, next year I might go anyway or reach out to Matt for the best price in America!
Thank you so much...that means a lot to us. We just want to share our travels and provide some clean, well mostly, entertaining, informative content. I guess you can call it a labor of love...I have always enjoyed creating/editing videos of our family's important events and now that they are grown this is an extension of that. If you go to the Tampa show, just the atmosphere is so cool...so no need to buy a new rig...unless you really really want to. Haha. Thanks again...and yes....we will keep creating!!
How do you like Sanlan?? I play golf there, but I am parked at Citrus Ridge Neighborhood in Davenport. Traffic here is getting obscene! But I love wintering in Central FL
Thanks. Scooter is a blast. We would like to have e-bikes but just too much weight and would need a new rack. We do like to pedal and mountain bike a bit. Scooter is fun for just getting around the campground. Have a great week as well.
Hey guys, we are watching this video again because we will be staying at Ocala North RV Park (11/18 - 12/10) and wanted to check it out. By the way, never to old to ride a scooter, Ken. I bought a Roadrunner DS5+ and I am having a blast with it but man-o-man it is torquey and has great suspension for off-road use.
You will love Ocala North. One of our favorite campgrounds. Downtown Ocala is great. They are under new management so hope it’s still great. Go to The Brick City Southern Kitchen The scooter is a blast.
I just told Michael those are called hockey pucks😂 We have all kinds of coastal wildlife in our backyard. Egrets, blue herons, turtles, and a gator we call Albert 😉 Thanks for sharing your fun times!🔆🐾
Pam does make really good ones when using self rising flour but this was a Bisquick fail. Love having wildlife close by. Our Condo has a small lake behind it where we often see gators ( 1 at a time usually) Ospreys, Anhinga (sp?) Egrets, Herons, Ibis , and lately some Iguanas. Fun to sit there with coffee in the morning and watch all of that.
@TheRoadSMITHS We're really going to miss our backyard and pond, but know we'll be seeing so many beautiful places that it will be worth it. Ya'll stay safe out there🔆
Hi! Catching up on your videos. Love them! Bisquick has changed something in their mix but not sure what the change was. Nothing made with it tastes or looks like it used to. Safe travels to you.
Ocala and the surrounding area, 1.5 hour or so drive in either direction is amazing. So many people always just go to Florida beaches, but the interior of the state is awesome as well. Great hanging out with you guys. I am still enjoying my Bit O Honey's haha.
Well in true You Tuber style....you will just have to wait until the next video to find out. Haha. OK Spoiler alert....no...lost in the last round in a throw off.
New sub here. Love your videos! So entertaining yet informative. Nice job. The bisquick made those biscuits? That' weird. It must have been old or too much liquid. I've had some yummy bisquick biscuits. You guys are so fun to watch. Looking forward to watching more.
Thank you for subscribing! Thanks so much for the comment and you perfectly captured the intent of our videos perfectly. We try and be entertaining and informative! Not sure what happened with the bisquick. When we were in a sticks and bricks, Pam would always make buttermilk biscuits with white lily self rising flour. Since we have been on the RV she does not travel with that and I think this was the first time making biscuits in the RV. The oven is fine since we have made homemade pizzas in it and it does great. Hope you enjoy our other content!!
I have a Ninebot Segway. It goes 24 mph! I just love it. But....I work at a State Park in Iowa in the summer, and guess what? They do NOT allow electric scooters. Good grief. So I bought a Cricket mini golf cart! LOL! You guys are great!
24mph is fast. Ours goes 20mph top speed and on a scooter that is fast enough. I am concerned with places not allowing them. Those cricket carts are cool. We saw them at the Tampa Show this year. Thanks for watching!!
Love love loved this video! We really enjoy you guys all your filming and editing is fantastic! Not sponsored by bisquick too funny! The scooter looked like fun we have the bikes but thinking about scooters. Congrats on the trophy it must feel good to be a champion! A clicker for the gators would have been fun! Love Meeka (?) What pretty eyes and I love her thoughts! Ticks can be scary we have a friend that ended up with Lyme disease form a tick on a hike so we try to watch for those suckers. We are so excited to have a meet up one day we have always met tons of people and made permanent friends but now with you tube we are excited for a meet up. We love Matt and Andrea we watched him for 6 months straight before deciding on our RV and we almost contacted him to fly out and buy through him. We mentioned them in the video tour of our RV. Anyway you guys are great and we look forward to following you more and hope we see you on the road!
Thank you so much for the compliments. Comments like those give me the drive to continue to put the hours into the editing process. The scooter is really fun and nice to have just to get around the campground. We still love to ride our bikes and still get.a bit of exercise with those. Luckily on the Ticks, there are no deer ticks here which can carry Lyme, but these were Lone Star ticks, funny since we got them in Florida NOT Texas Haha. We researched after we encountered them and were somewhat relieved of that. Meka is just such an awesome.dog ..she goes with the flow and is just so loving. Love that you guys are showing a lot of the PNW since we have yet to be there in the RV. I was in Portland many years ago ( very many years ago haha) and went to Multonomah Falls ( sp?) and saw Mt Hood. We did a family vacation about 8 years ago to Seattle, The San Juan Islands, Vancouver and Whistler. So Beautiful. Meeting up with other You Tube RVers has been awesome and and we have met many new friends that way so hope to meet up with y'all as well some day. We will be back in Montana this year so maybe if you are in the area ...haha...I know its a huge expansive area up there..but if you are thinking of Montana...let us know. Thanks so much and keep up the good work on your channel as well!!
@@TheRoadSMITHS Sounds great the best thing has been meeting new friends and learning so much. We use to live in Wyoming and loved spending time in Montana it is so beautiful. We are covering Alaska, Canada, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and California this year. We left the fall open so far so stay in touch! Until then we will keep enjoying your channel and hope to stay in touch. Keep Ramblin Around!

We haven’t made it to PNW yet, but it’s on our list! Absolutely, we would love that!! We will do the same! We are really enjoying your videos! Definitely seeing things that we MUST do when we are there! ☺️
@@TheRoadSMITHS Thank you so much for watching! If you have any tips or advice please feel free to message or email us. We are open and would take any! Thx again hope to cross paths!
That campground looks so nice. I'll have to pass on the biscuits. 😂😂 You guys saw a lot of gators that day. Thank goodness Mika didn't go after that gator.
Ocala North is really really nice. They were just purchased by Sun Outdoors so we know it will change. That Apopka Wildlife Drive was amazing with just how many we saw. Pam will have to a "redemption" biscuit video because her normal ones are so good. Haha. Hope you and Chris are well!!
Unfortunately, I'm with you on not wasting food. 🤦♂🤦♂😁😁 So, how goes the scooter? Are you finding it useful? I'd be a nervous wreck if my wife wanted to try that scooter! She just has a knack of things going weird at times. It's made an interesting life for sure and great stories for the grandkids. haha Thanks for sharing your stories! Rock on RoadSmiths!
My Mom taught me well...haha..don't wast food. The scooter is a blast...right now until I crash that is. Haha. Couple of things...its hard and not advisable to ride one hand like on a bike...and 2 avoid anything in the road that looks like even a minor bump.
New friend here. Have a great day :)
Thanks for watching!! Have a great day as well!!!

😂 we feel like kids again with these toys, right?
