RIP Eric Carr. That Tank was the coolest thing they ever did.
Vinnie Vincent's best guitar playing. He was on fire.
Yeah. Paul and Gene later would criticize Vinnie for his playing but from watching this concert I don't understand what the problem was. Sure he was more over the top than Ace but I feel his playing to their sound to the next level combines with Erics powerful drumming.
@@robertc7072 Totally -- this is the most brutal and powerful KISS ever sounded
Kiss couldn't handle Vinnie
I came across this video after not seeing it in years, as a lifelong Kiss fan damn this was probably the tightest heaviest Kiss lineup, my lord Vinnie could play. Nothing against the original lineup, Ace and Peter were great but it’s a shame that VV was so hard to do business with
Concordo, amigo.

At Maracanã Stadium!
I was at Morumbi
What was it like to see them in such a big stadium?

It was great!
EU sei. EU fui.
The most brutally powerful KISS lineup
I love this era so nice that VV could be himself in KISS. It felt fresh and interesting again!
VV turned kiss up to a 1,000. Wish they could have done more with him.
Vinnie and Eric: excelent !
Vinnie and Eric brought an inferno to KISS.
Hell yeah!🤘🤘🤘
Vincent Cusano was LAME.
Thanks for sharing! I was there, close to the stage.
Vinnie Vincent definitely brought kiss to another level.
The swan song of the make-up period ! Absolute concert, magnificent death of one of the greatest groups in the history of Rock'n Roll ! KISS forever.
I saw this concert when they came to France 🤘😍 I love the jumping here from Paul - Dr Love .
Do you still Paul Stanley looks good today?
@@mikerivera7509 No, he got older but I was used to seeing him running around everywhere, I didn't want to go see Kiss last year in France because the group wasn't moving anymore wich gives me the image that I'm getting older too, life is cruel, so my Son went there and told me it was great he love the show. Paul was my favorite ⚘️sexy his voice it's been 44 years I was in Lycée (school) I can't beleive there's no more Kiss 😭 I still put posters of them in my room. I love Kiss forever, Ace, Bruce K and so on.
@@Christine16425 I heard that
I saw them on this tour. They were amazing!
I’ll always love this era of Kiss! Great video! I had an audio cassette of this when I was a kid. Blew me away!
Por conta deste show me tornei fã de KISS !!!
This version of War Machine live is the best version I've ever heard!
Same for Calling dr love
Seen this tour in Nashville Tennessee in 83. My ears are still ringing 😂
Eric was a BEAST. Brought the band to
a higher level.
Eric Carr in our Hearts❤️🤟🏻
I saw the Lick It Up tour, which was probably only a few months after this. Without the 'classic' costumes the band were even more energetic, and with two back-to-back killer heavy albums, they were in full face-melt mode. Eric & Vinnie made Kiss a devastating machine.
Now I remember why I went on a 15 year KISS hiatus.
Cool period.
Ace was in the band (about to leave) just 7 months earlier in November of 1982 doing promotion for the creatures album and tour.
Funny because Ace didn't contribute anything to that album. Vinnie helped write some of the songs and played both rhythm and lead on almost all songs.
@@FreeMTrider I know. From what I've heard in interviews with them it was a mixture between them trying to convince Ace to stay, them not having a new guitarplayer yet because of the first and next reason, and a contract that was based on the three of them. Because Eric Carr was essentially an employee on paper rather than a member. When Ace left the band they/Kiss lost millions of dollars. Also kind of cool that Ace was in the band, officially, just months before they removed the makeup and that he's the one who's in the musicvideo and also doing performances and interviews for creatures of the night. I'm guessing the song "Rock and roll hell" struck a chord with Ace as he recorded a cover of the song in 2016. Must have been confusing to be a Kiss fan back in 1983 thinking you where going to see Ace, Paul, Gene and Eric but suddenly seeing someone else on stage, and then months later suddenly no make up.
@@andreasandreas9291I remember most of that. But back then we didn't get info about bands like we have since the internet, etc. But I do recall that Kiss really wasn't what we were all listening to, at least we not hearing about new music from them. The record company wasn't promoting them like before with all the new bands and NWOBHM and of course all the LA bands. But one thing we did know was that Ace wasn't part of the band and wasn't coming back. The MTV make up removal thing was pretty big since they had a new album and some hits. Lick it Up was very popular when I was in school. They were able to reinvent Kiss during a time when bands were being signed left and right and MTV was going 24/7. Every kid I knew was looking for the next band. Vinnie Vincent was a really good song writer and Kiss wouldn't have come back without him or at least during that time. It's too bad he didn't keep it together and not get caught up in the whole shredder movement.
The press conference images are priceless, thank you so much for sharing.

Good sound quality.

Thanks for the sharing another Kiss concert, Just letting you know, be careful on Kiss videos, A friend of mine Antonio when he uploaded a lot of KISS videos and also he got closed by UA-cam on his old channel and i think he got 3 copyright strikes by Kiss fan,
I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night....
Vinnie Vincent his playing is 10/10 on this concert.
Those leads are not the same as Ace Frehley.
It's actually better then '
The Spaceman !
Why can’t the obvious be seen ? People were burnt out by KISS , the late 70’s dug a nice whole for them. This lineup brought some fire back and everyone was contributing here. Vinnie and Eric helped pull them out of that hole. I did see this tour in the states and the band was rejuvenated completely. I understand the confusion and dislikes but it’s usually by people that were not around to see it. Creatures is the heaviest KISS sound to date. Love it or hate it. It’s all irrelevant now.
I disagree. Only in America did they take a hit. In Australia they were way bigger in 1980 than they ever were here.
So what's the problem? There was 138,000 at this show. A record setter.

My favorite part of this show 27:55
that Black Diamong finale of that era is the best
@@MarceloPisaniGarib Absolutely!!!!
It’s a shame that GS & PS couldn’t realize what they had with VV because VV’s technique was Shrapnel Records level shred before Shrapnel Records level shred was a thing. VV and EC metalized the old tunes. They could’ve kept the costumes with a new look and new sound that might have made them innovators in the 80s instead of being a has-been act trying to stay relevant by copying the trendy the glam/hair metal crowd of the times.
At least there’s this vid.
Agree big time, Vinnie and Eric we're both so good and love the faster versions of the songs. Too bad Vinnie had demons to deal with.
@@metalmarty3948 Ace and Peter had demons as well. Vinnie was young and dumb as most artists back in the early 80s. Very few were able to even keep making good music throughout the 90s.
@searchdivision Exactly how I feel. If there was ever a lineup that could have took them to the next level it was this lineup. But like usual it's about money and Gene and Paul wanted to get exposure on MTV so they took of the makeup and became just another band. This latest retirement tour is a complete joke. Almost laughable. But when you have egos like Gene and Paul it's nearly impossible to work with them unless your willing to succumb to their every demand. Any disagreement and you risk getting booted out of the band.
yes, they were/are still so ungrateful

Some of the songs sound great with the sped up tempo, but love it loud isn't one of them, lol.
Yes! Vinnie is Vinnie, but he's still fun on leads. Watch this back to back with 1996 Madison Square garden for a real shock in tempo
I agree if we compare it closer to today! I always liked the imprint that V.V! Kiss was a great band with Vinnie beyond the person that Vinnie was.
This is my favorite version of KISS.. bad ass!!!!. Heavy!!!!!!
This is the peak moment for this band! Holy hell!!! They're friggin jammin!!!
Dang that crowd is electric!
Set list in description is wrong. Creatures is the first song.
My goodness how fast did they play Creatures
Nothing touches the original group
Esse set list é só do vídeo?
Porque se for do show, tem muita música faltando. Está incompleto.
Set list está errado:
"Creatures of the Night" foi a música de abertura.
Does anybody still have the only surviving live recording of I Still Love You with the makeup? It got deleted off UA-cam
200,000 people! Can you imagine?
40!!!
Obrigado!
Com todo respeito ao Ace Frehley, mas o Vinnie Vincent substituiu a altura como o novo guitarrista solo do Kiss na tour do Creatures of the Night. ❤️🔥
On the setlist, you didn't list the opening song, Creatures of the Night
Creatures está cortada completa
A maior esculhambação essa coletiva de imprensahahaha. Muito legal.
Great video! Where is Paul’s costume? Did the airline lose his suitcase? 😮
I don't know ...
On his t- shirt there's a logo printed in the back. You can see it in this video.
Vinnie doing Ace solos is like an adult doing wheelies on a kids bike.
Did gene sing the second chorus of cold gin twice?
The first song on this set is not Cold Gin
It's Creatures of the Night
That's what it was on this video

Going from Peter to Eric made Kiss so much better. After adding a modern 80’s guitarist like Vinnie made them sound world class. It’s too bad Vinnie was such an awful person with a ridiculous ego, I would have love to see how much different the albums after Lick it up would have been with him writing.
The bio setlist is wrong
If you have ever played in a band you will know someone showboating can fuck up an entire show, especially one as choreographed as a KISS show
Effectively, a downgrade as the ratio should be 4 : 3...
They were more thunderous at this time…fact.
I don't care who you are . Playing in front of that massive audience would be I creditable. Saw them in 1975 Eugene Oregon and after what I saw that evening ruined my Mom's plans for what she had for me . Hajajahhh.
Paul only sung 2 songs
I think paul and gene felt a little bit outshined by vinnie. And who can blame them. They were the protagonists. So they turn off the spotlight for him
They only have the venue rented for so long. Vinnie’s solos kept getting longer and longer so it was necessary to cut him off because they needed to get on with the show
@@Prof_Tickles92 Vinnie stole the show, that's why they had to get rid of him

THIS is not KISS.
KISS is only and always Gene, Peter, Paul, and Ace.
End of discussion. Back to your substandard KISS-Lite video-
Sorry but Vinnie is not the best . Ace is the ultimate, Bruce is the best man and he introduced his claw, then Vinnie... And he was very interesting, technically and in his composing but he burnt his wings himself. Mark (RIP) could not achieve anything. And Tommy did the job all these years without any style but ... did the job for what he worked and paid for.
One of the 10 ever best show of Rock'n Roll History.
Vinnie was too good for this band .
Gene and Paul were carried for a lot of years.
Too good for his own band too apparently.Record company kicked him to the curb FAST.
He's a creep.
He definitely has his issues.....but Eisen and Klein were screwing him out of publishing rights with Kiss , problem with a lot of good guitarists is , that egos surpass their talent . @@jeffhodge7272
Vinnie Blows
After Creatures I lost interest in this band. In a lot of ways this lineup was better than the original the addition of Vinnie and Eric gave them more of powerful sound. I actually preferred Eric Carr over Peter. After Creatures and taking off the makeup they became just another 80s glam/hair band IMO. This latest "retirement" tour had nothing on this tour. KISS dies when Eric died and Vinnie left. Too bad they did not make a professional DVD of this tour. Creatures of the Night is very under rated.
Wrong.Bruce played with far more feel and conviction than speed freak Vinnie.I saw VV live.He was 🤮
