OMG! Jimmy Does Color!! I love the way you're quietly letting undyed yarns invade your wardrobe. And that amazing scarf! I agree that we could be more conscious of what we're buying. We're all in this together.
It is a crime your videos aren't getting more views. You have great content and you're super personable. Also, I just realized I've had that sweater in my list of favourites, but didn't realize as it looks so different in your colour choice. So gorgeous!
Scarf is magnificent - great project to knit over Christmas during travel or as destressor - a knitter's self-treat for Christmas. Hope you get lots of purchase orders.
Love this podcast, love your sweater, love your ethos, love your personality… hate the way your books are facing the wrong way on that bookshelf. Still an automatic subscribe, can’t wait to see more from you.
@@champagneknits9333 The books on the bookshelf are a hot topic. It gives a cleaner backdrop. Otherwise it's quite busy. Also, my British BF says the same about my English.
Yes, I think it may have to do with the inconsistency of my uploads. I’m trying to upload on a Saturday or Sunday. When I first started I did a weekly videos and I found it was too much so now I’m once or twice a month. Who knows, as long as we love what we’re doing and stay optimistic. Happy knitting 🧶 ❤
The pink and green part of your scarf reminded me of some hanna andersson clothes I had a kid. lol. And as someone who's also been out of work for about a year and a half, all my projects are what can I do with what I already have too
I love the ombre color transition you did on the sweater 😱💖 it looks amazing! Especially on the natural undyed background. I think you’re right and it would look stunning in reverse colours as well and if I understand right you got some yarn left over so maybe time to swatch that 👀 The darker brown might also be an easier "colorpop“ as the undyed if you mostly wear black 😅
I get why sockyarn has nylon in it, if you use it for socks, as it has benefits in that context. but as a person with sensory issues and a deep personal dislike for everything polyester I agree that it would be nice to be a little mindful about fibre content. On the other hand I also get that almost everything (i.e. wool- or cotton industry) is or can be problematic in its own way, no matter what you chose you lose 😅🥲
Everything you made is utterly beautiful, thank you for sharing with us. Do you have any tips for leaning to knit colourwork? I knit English style and have tried and failed to learn continental, and being unable to hold one yarn in each hand really puts me off. Thank you for any advice.
I think for colorwork, try something small and in the round like a hat or cowl. In terms of knitting colorwork English, style, I don't really have any advice. I do it continental. Some people use a Norwegian thimble. Maybe take a look at pink knits or Roxanne Richardson? You just have to go for it and try things and see what works for you.

I'm dipping my toe. I figure I can always give them away if not.
I agree 100% with your comments about trying to be more eco-conscious with our yarn purchasing/usage.
No one is perfect, but a step towards better is a good start.

Aww thank you. And yes, looking at the other projects, this one does change it up quite a bit.

Thank you. It was super easy and with the color changes, it was a lot of fun.
Hi, I have the same thing happening with UA-cam. We must preserver. I absolutely love the sweater you’re wearing!
You do? I have to imagine you're very popular. That surprises me. I'll still keep doing it because I enjoy it. I hope you do the same. Thank you 😊

Lol, as a bilingual Canadian I often tease my husband who is American by saying “you only speak the one language and not even that well”.

Go for all natural undyed. Check out naturally dyed too. For kids you can use cotton so it’s washable. I feel good about my choices.
Great suggestions. I deff have some playing around to do.

Very excited for that scarf! I need scarves but detest knitting them so I'm stoked for that when it lands on the scene :)
Awww thanks. It changes just enough to keep you engaged, but is still really easy.
Love to see the scarf in testing!
Thanks. Exciting times.
Oh, those mittens!
Thanks. I'm quite happy with how they turned out.

That scarf is oddly nostalgic. Think about things as really making use of your stash 😁

Thank you. I have some ideas for a new design because of this 😈

I think it's just trying to be better with the options we have. It's not going to be perfect with the world we live in.

I looked for the colorful scarf pattern on Ravelry...
You will not find it there until December 1st. It's currently being test knit.
