Wildfire Deployment Orientation

The Wildfire Orientation video provides an overview of deployment on a wildfire incident. It highlights what you should consider and expect in terms of packing, facilities and time away from home. The orientation also provides some basic wildfire safety and fire behaviour terminology.
Viewing this video does not constitute training and will not be counted towards accreditation. To fill a wildfire response role, you will require additional training and may also require related experience. Alberta Wildfire offers a mix of online and self-study training for some support positions.
