Roberto Delgado - Down The Sleepy River (1970)

From his 1970 album Vibraphon á la carte, Roberto Delgado (Horst Wende) performs the song Down The Sleepy River, written by German singer/songwriter Björn Werner under the pseudonym Harpo Skolsky. Wende, an accomplished mallet percussion player as well as an accordionist and keyboard player, plays the lead vibraphone on the album, as well as some keyboard work. It's likely that Hamburg session keyboard and mallet percussionist Günter Platzek also plays some vibraphone and keyboard parts.
