The best looking electric truck is the one in the thumbnail…🤷🏻
Agreed! It's an iteration of the Nikola Badger. Itsstyling is reminiscent of a stealth fighter jet.
Love the Hummer
I WANT THAT HUMMER
Silverado all the way. Price and driving range are perfect for me.
A $100,000 for a truck? Come on!
Looks good. But to bad it will take another 10 years before I will see one at my local dealership and still by then the price will be to high for anyone to buy.
Some questions
Are all electric cars and trucks going to have a universal charging plug ?
Approximately how many KW generator would be needed to maintain the battery voltage at highway speed.
Also would it be possible to charge the batteries from campground 30-50 amp electric ?
Battery technology is improving, and fairly rapidly. By 2024, if not sooner, you will be able to fully charge an EV within 15 minutes and driving range will be in the neighborhood of 500 miles.
I think my choice would be the Hummer.
Nice
One of the BIGGEST downside to all latest pickup trucks, is the LACK of proper practical fixing points to strap or tie goods down when securing a load
That New Ford Front End is Awesome............!
Bravo to ALL companies striving to deliver EV trucks There's room for all platforms.
that is such a cool looking tesla mockup pickup. its a shame nobody pays 10,000 for the design and makes it.
An incredible future in front of our eyes
Hey! Where is the truck shown on the introducción, that's the one I want. Second choice is the Hummer.
he doesn't even put the actual pictures of the trucks and some aren't even coming out in 2022
The best looking electric truck is the one in the scrap yard
I feel sorry for electric car drivers and future owners. They will simply have to learn the hard way .. as I did. These things are a huge hassle and a outrageous expense in the long run. Batteries are very ... very expensive to replace ( thousands of dollars) ... and make no mistake, you will be replacing them. These batteries are highly toxic to our environment, with a high potential for disaster to our surroundings. Plus I regret all the lost hours at these charging stations. I wish I knew all this before I bought my car . Do your homework before buying !
Why can other pickups have the sliding hidden ramp like Tesla’s
that atlas truck looks like the 2020 silverado HD
Good... but found it hard to understand the narrator.... 😐
2022 inflation destroys as announced prices
Minute 13:27....Bollinger B2 its ARO truck(Made in Romania)
Lordstown lol. Caught fire and now on the edge of bankruptcy.
An electric vehicle has finally gotten my attention. The Atlis, capable of 500 miles. Now there’s something to talk about, but not at any price!
Good Top Ten but Ram
all kinda cool trucks to choose from will ing to bet next three yrs all companys going to make soooooomuch money 👀pop out of head 😲😲
The prices quoted(estimated) is RIP OFF!!! But we know there is a population out there, if the prices rise they are happy, cause that will seperate one from the other, meaning one will be able to buy & the other will not, as for ME, they have to fix the price, ie drop those prices, lets evaluate gas/diesel____ev breaking-----they both have.
Steering----- they both have.
Engine---- gas/diesel.
Ev----- Motor--- less wear & tear, less moving parts, etc.
Come on Man you can do better than that!!!!
Atlis
I keep looking at these videos, and going to the websites to research these vehicles. When a truck appears I will let you know. These are UTEs not trucks. When I see a 96 inch bed It may be a Truck.
@@lucastherexcat you sir are correct, but the lightning ( the only full EV I have seen with my own eyes) is a full size truck on the same platform of the regular F-150.
I wonder what the driving range is when it is 10 degrees out and you have the heat on. Or 95 degrees with the AC.
In general, the batteries loose 30% (or more) at 32F. Here, in ND, 30F below is not uncommon. I bet the range will be reduced by much more.
Without universal charging plugs EV vehicles will not take off. I was with a group of people last moth and one of them had a EV car but the Airbnb we were at didn't have a charging plug or external set up. it was a major problem since we were many miles away from a charging station that he could use. A long extension cord only provided a small trickle charge that barley allowed him to charge overnight giving him just enough power to drive an hour away and find a Fast Charger. Then if you rent an apartment or your condo's parking doesn't accommodate overnight charging, whet then? . Great idea but EV's still a "rich mans" toy.
Wow, all these are SUVs with beds, not trucks. I guess they figure that the American middle class is capable of affording $75K SUVs with beds. I wonder if and when they will come out with actual trucks that the blue collar working class can afford? Maybe something that doesn't weigh 6000 pounds, is much smaller, and can carry 4X8 sheets of plywood or drywall, or maybe a bundle of 10 foot long 2X4s. Maybe they figure that people who need this kind of capability will just buy trailers or maybe roof racks. Nobody should mistake these beasts as being OK for the environment. Dragging around 6000 pounds has got to take significant energy, whether from a fuel or electrons that were generated by fuels. Don't get rid of your conventional pickups yet, guys. It seems these companies still want to build behemoth SUVs. I'm tell'in Greta!
Hey why does the first truck the ford have a exhaust pipe???????????????????????????????
I think Rivian is number one
I don't like the Tesla Cyber truck whatsoever. To me it's not a pickup whatsoever, it's something that should be in futuristic movies.
Cybertruck is not a workhorse truck. It is more like Sunday cruiser truck
@@toptrendingcars the exterior looks like an elementary kid drawing. Wonder what was going through the designer's head when they designed the exterior. They should have thrown that drawing in the trash and started over. Lmao
Trucks are for work not just show
Unless our electrical grid is upgraded there is going to be huge problems with all these electrical vehicles coming online
Your 100% correct. Current transmission lines in neighborhoods could only handle about 3-4 electric vehicles charging. Then we shut down all the coal fired plants. And replaced them with solar fields and wind turbines that only produce a fraction of the power lost.
Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 what are guys talking about! You clearly have no clue! Why don't you check and see how man EV's are already on the road. Look I get it no one likes change, but that's no excuse for promoting ridiculous unfounded talking points of dinosaurs. Their already here, a better talking point is that this guy is way, way, way of on the price points of all these vehicles. They are definitely targeting the one percent.
@@craigwalker4201 I can’t speak for my fellow dinosaurs but let me just say this when heat waves hit California in the southwest Florida and even here in New York we have brown outs and in some cases blackouts we are quickly becoming a Third World country because we have not invested in upgrading our infrastructures these talking points as you call them are just plain facts
@@randanderson4710 while I agree with much of what your saying, you clearly have never been to a third world country, not one of the cities you named qualifies! Secondly your are totally correct, but my question to you now is are you supporting those who would usher in the needed changes, or the week attempts the the lingering auto industry attempt at creating new EV vehicles? If we (you, me, and others😀) get out here and shoot down, or spread bad talking points instead of truthful ones it'll be another twenty years of weeeek ass fossil fuel vehicles attempting to look new and advanced. Their only doing what they are because the writing is on the wall!
I'm cautious talking to EV people, ... it's like talking to a bowl of Corn Flakes !
On the road in 2021? On what planet?
They are coming. Looks like ALL US Pickup trucks are going electric. I hope they can deliver what they promise. Still it will be a major game changer in the US
Seems like the Hummer EV is going to be released this year. They already have over 100 being tested across the country.
@@theflew test models and consumers driving them are diferent things.
@@klardfarkus3891 If you're building 100 test trucks it means you're serious about getting it to market.
@@theflew I didn’t say they weren’t serious. I just doubt that, no matter how serious they are that they can do it. They can’t even finish last years trucks, still waiting on chips.
TATA TRUCK. MAHENDRA PICK UP???
Fords new aerodynamic front end? Is that a joke?
Tesla truck is the best
All others look like a regular truck
I ask why they do that
Not bad but I don't here anyone talking about how much your electric bill is gonna increase...
I worked in the coal mines for over 20 years and all our equipment was just about electrical and I know that when the batteries blows up it isn't pretty and it cost a small for fortune to charge them ...plus parts are not cheap either ..and not to mention the fire risk ...what about if u was to wreck one of these cars or trucks ..what is the risk of getting blew up or electrocuted if u did survive the wreck..have they even safety tested these new vehicles or do they have a fire suppression system on them
Incredibly deceiving video please take down
Anyone can offer eletrick truck or car but does the company have the whole package to go with it like charging stations etc e-car is no good if u cant charge it anywere its like having the best phone but theres no were to charge it so wots the point if basics arent there useless wen tesla offer something u no they have the power to build it now and all the package that go with it concept cars dont mean u can build the thing...
There are tons of charging stations in the cities. Also every house is a charging station. Many ppl will charge overnight.
Lordstown is ugly inside and out.
I think all EV's should have a solar panel that way if it is parked up for an extended period of time, the solar is trickle feeding the batteries and keeping it charged enough to keep the computer and all of the electrical items that bleed off the power while the car sits. If you park at the airport and go on holiday for 2 weeks, you are screwed by the time you get back unless they add solar panels to every EV.
Atlas and Hercules are the better looking among a very ugly group of vehicles.
u cant sell elcteric car wthout all the charging inferstructure otherwise its useless its not like gas there stations everywere ....
Ppl can simply charge at home unless they live in apartments but lots of condos are adding charging stations too
The cyber truck has to be a joke.
I'm not paying more than 1500
BS trucks still Dodge Ram Diesel cumins those trucks are for homeowners the real men drive diesel trucks.
Really?
Ford is so uncreative with their F150 styling. Not sure who would ever buy their vehicle with those other Atlis, Hercules & Hummer vehicles look 1,000 times better.
It cute but I would not bye a Electric vehicle of any kind except my golf cart and if I could’ve found a good gas golf cart when I bought that one I wouldn’t have a electric golf cart either
Why are electric trucks so freaking ugly? Especially the front ends, totally putrid
With the exception of the Chevy, those are all hideously fugly. Why do they have to make EV's so damned fugly and grotesque?
the narration on this is horrendous. pseudo American sell, sell, sell
Everyone that I see is a total joke and their junk atlas is the only one I see that looks realistic
Especially the renderings with the steering wheel sitting too far down look realistic!
Not sure tesla got it there. An ford just swappin a motor for electric. Bit dissapionting. Someone gets it right. Huge market.
Enough. "Cybertruck similar to f150e" lol bye.
your mic is terrible
Z
Interior of all these but TESLA have a normal Dull look . Stupid to keep same look .
Only Tesla makes it’s own batteries
All others out source them
I do not trust Fisker....PERIOD. >>> FISKER KARMA!
So when the power goes out .guess no one goes anywhere
Gas stations won't work without power either. Without electricity nobody eats for long either so what's your point ?
@@MrRealpolitiks If my car is full of gas i wont be stuck.Price of hydro going up. Cant imagine my hydro bill with my car charge added on to it
@@angelahind9042 if my electric car is fully charged I won't be stuck. Without electricity gas pumps won't work. In Vancouver right now gas has run out because of floods but electric cars are fine. Electricity is alot cheaper than gasoline. The price of gasoline will soon skyrocket. Keeping a gas powered car is like keeping a house phone. If u don't keep up with the times, u will be left behind.

All of this shit is a joke.
that is not what the electric Silverado is going to look like.
