Dimash musical journey indeed aren't as smooth sailing all the time. In this MV he showed how young he has been training and how hard he worked. Yes, please read the lyrics when you have a chance. They are very thoughtful and deep. In retrospect, I think he was also saying goodbye to his grandfather in it. You saw him moving a chess piece (he used to play chess with his grandfather), as well as the sandglass at the beginning and end. Dimash also begs the fate/life not to rock his boat, be merciful to him.
I loved his ballad-like singing.

13 июня ушёл из жизни дедушка Димаша, Кудайберген Айтбаев. Он, по казахским традициям, вместе с бабушкой Димаша растил внука с самого его рождения. Был его старшим отцом, наставником, другом, учил его уважительно относиться к старшим, заботиться о младших, чтить свои традиции, помнить свои корни, быть учтивым и доброжелательным со всеми людьми, показывать воспитание и хорошие манеры не только среди чужих людей, но и дома, в кругу семьи и друзей. Это тяжелейшая утрата для Димаша.
Его сольный концерт в Малайзии 24 июня мог и не состоятъся, как признался сам Димаш. Но он не мог подвести своих поклонников, которые приехали со всех уголков планеты, чтобы увидеть его выступление, не мог подвести всех организаторов шоу, студентов университета, которые ожидали с ним встречи...Димаш на пресс-конференции в Малайзии поблагодарил всех своих Дорогих за моральную поддержку, организаторов мероприятия за их тёплый приём, за полученную награду, свою семью, своего отца, который был с ним... Димаш потрясающе выступил со своим концертом, даря свою положительную энергию, свои эмоции, свою любовь всем зрителям в зале и получая столько же любви взамен. Что творилось у Димаша на душе, в каком он был состоянии вне сцены, видел за кулисами только его отец, Канат Айтбаев....
Спасибо вам, что посмотрели это потрясающее произведение от Димаша и отдельная благодарность за вашу любовь к творчеству этого замечательного человека, за вашу искренность, за ваши человеческие эмоции и понимание. You understood the song very well for not having the lyrics up. It doesn't have crazy high notes but it actually does cover a huge range, from the beginning gutteral low note to his beautiful whisper soft high register. A melancholic yet positive vibe.
