I like how at 0:26 it sounded like Tyler's partner didn't really want to lead. But because of RPS law, the guy who wanted to lead followed, and the guy who wanted to follow led.
Great video as usual, a very nice looking climb, thanks for the inspiration to keep on going (I live in the desert and it’s too hot to do anything, just waiting for fall) love the Whitney area, too bad it’s so overrun, good for you all lots of booty! 🐺🧗🏻♂️👍
@@kurtstolzenburg544 hey me too. 10 minute drive max to horseman’s today. I’m Near the local highschool and shopping area on the corner. You go climbing up in horseman ? That place has some rock climbing areas there I’ve seen. Always seeing new ones everytime I go
Yes Matt I go to Horseman’s a lot, however I don’t have a climbing partner right now so I just boulder and scramble, looking for a partner if you know anyone.
@@kurtstolzenburg544 hell I’d love to go at it sometime my man. I’m more new in the sense of actually getting deep into horseman’s. I do although have a question. At this time in the season around what times are snakes most prevalent ? I like going up there between 7am and sometimes around 5pm. When is it the most active for snakes in that area of horseman’s ? Have you experienced any snakes or other little creatures up there lol. Sometimes I see homeless but very solemn
Love the channel man, would be curious to hear about your training regiment before big trips. Trying to get into bigger alpine climbing and curious if you do any weightlifting/Bodyweight training or exclusively climbing in the gym?
I’ve been inside a climbing gym maybe 3 times in the past 2 years and I don’t do any weightlifting or training of any sort. I just go out and climb outside as much as I can and that seems to do the trick! Back when I worked full time I would run ARCing laps indoors and do some weightlifting, body weight training, and occasional hang boarding. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that spending time on rock is by far the most valuable way to get better at climbing
@@tylerkarow this route looks amazing! I don’t live in CA anymore but I don’t see the topo online anywhere, but this looks rad! Would you be able to send a copy my way?

Beautiful route! Nicely done guys.
Wonder if you'd enjoy climbing black canyon for the Gunnison. I know I'd enjoy watching a video of you doing it.
This is the dream. So sick
That was awesome man! High quality rock right thurr!
That looks incredible!
Damn it dude! You beat us to the 2nd ascent by a couple weeks.
Why put bolts, when there are so many cracks available for gear?

Amazing ! Thank you!
