We use that same ball to feed Finley his kibble every day for the last 6 years. He doesn't want to eat kibble out of a bowl. We're on our 4th ball. We add about 1/4 cup at a time. They come out really easily when it's full, but the last few always take a while. He paws it around. He noses it around. He picks it up and drops it while walking to make it bounce. Multiply that by 4 rounds for 1 cup of kibble, and you have a good daily mental stimulation. Getting it out from under furniture is an added challenge. Sometimes he gives up and has to 'yip' for us to retrieve it. It's a great mental stimuli for him; even if it means we occasionally step on a stray kibble in the middle of the night...

Going to have to get one of these for my boy Tetris. He's all energy these days at 14 months. The old routine isn't cutting the mustard.
