Whenever I played this game I hated going in the library because it would suddenly play really creepy music and I expected someone to come in or something scary to happen.
Petition for the newest Nancy Drew game to revert back to its old charm/quality as compared to MIS.. but more importantly.. MAKE MR. SEPTEMBER A CHARACTER

It's a replay of the multiple freak-outs of excitement over Mr. September because he is just that awesome and handsome! I am so jealous! I wish I could be that close to Mr. September. Connie doesn't appreciate him.

73. I jumped on my seat when alarm turned on. It was so unexpected. And after several years since I played this game I still want to know what was that.
As for #51, in restaurants, the servers don't technically get breaks, even if they're there for 15 hours.
A game about a haunted bridge at a scout camp would be amazing! Could you imagine Nancy as a counselor?

@@elizakohl8922 I wonder if Detective Beach stole The ID off of A real Cop named Detective Beach since The Game never explains how He got His ID or why He was pretending to be A Cop and what caused Him to stop working with Mitch Dillion or what Detective Beach's real Name is
Honestly, as janky and nonsensical as the original was, it had a really great atmosphere. The mystery itself was also intriguing. And even though they improved some elements of the original with the remastered version, they lost the atmosphere that the original had. Therefore, I prefer the original.
And considering how they changed up quite a few elements of the original (like adding a new character, changing the motive for the murder, changing the culprit, etc.), I'm surprised they didn't flesh out the characters more. I feel like that was one of the biggest faults of the original.
Overall: well done, but could have been better.

57. How do they decide who's the cashier? Obviously, they play One Potato, Two Potato, which also explains where the potatoes went.
Audio balancing is not great on this one. The game's sound deafens, and yet I have to turn it all the way up to hear Argle.
That's how it is with most of these videos.

Honestly I was surprised the fellow wasn't mentioned on the "August Student" sin, since it came first in the vid.
I like how this video is kind of a remake of the original "Everything Wrong With Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill".
Also, the description says "Cna" instead of "Can" in "Secrets Can Kill".
I could tell there was something on the board behind Daryl, but I couldn't get close enough to actually read it. That bugged me.
The funny thing is, you could in the original. It was one of those hidden messages. I dunno why they removed that in the remaster

when i played this game i ignored the puzzles on the bulletin bored and guessed the solution to the final box puzzal and then finished the game.
How did you guess the solution to the box? That musta taken quite a while, considering there’s more possible solutions than I can count

With Mr September there, I almost couldnt focus enough to finish the game!

Well said. There's at least one nice thing about that game for me though, and that's the locations. The beach and jungle are nice, and Kapu Cave is cool. SCK Remastered is so dull that the school is no longer as mysterious and the diner is no longer as inviting as in the original.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of CRE's characters, either. xD
And you're right about SCK. Mr. September is a saving grace.

This game is still my favorite one out of the Nancy Drew series
the atmosphere of this game reminds me of two books I am writing called the Grassman and the Waterman.
Honestly, I never got why they felt the need to switch up Daryl's dialogue to a near 'douchery' level, but anyway... Those odd, and repetitive ambient noises in the Library are just plain bizarre and unnecessary, lol.
(Mr. September can do better than Connie. I mean, c'mon. She'd be lucky enough to share the same air as him.)
And then the music would suddenly go into "danger mode" and freak me out every dang time...

This game came out directly after Shadow at the Water's Edge, but the trailer at the end of SWE advertises Captive Curse.
No, this game came out a few months before SAW. That's why this game's teaser trailer is for SAW.
