Describing the call for humanity and justice for Palestinians “antisemitism” is the most ironic joke made by a devil !
Telling Jewish students to go back to where they came from is antisemitism actually and also quite ironic. As a Native American I want Palestinians to go back to the Middle East as well.
That’s because there are many examples of Jewish students being shouted at and harassed by pro Palestinian activists for simply being Jewish. How pathetic

College students as in the past (Vietnam War), very sensitive to social issues because they learned growing up in schools social justice , democracy, colonialism, imperialism, racism and when confronted in a big way by one of these said issues, they react and if suppressed will be hard to control (heavy handed, militaristic approach). You can’t just hide the hideous Israeli war in Gaza that touches the nerve of fair minded students.

Bunch of affluent college students at an elite university throwing a tantrum in tents on the lawn does nothing for Palestinians. The military operation will cease or continue outside of their control and the governments involved will continue to operate in their best interests. Humanitarian efforts would be the best use of their time, not this virtue signaling for media propaganda and social media likes. The pressure applied can be with voting, writing to governor, running advertisement campaigns, supporting non profits, and actually going overseas to help. Not sitting around wasting their parents money on performative activism that’s self serving.

If they did divest it would change nothing permanently overseas, just a headache of briefly finding another investor. The protests have good intentions, but at this point the only people that they are gonna make a permanent change for are less entitled students that are on their last opportunity to pass a class that could let them go on to better have a better future.
