You know, I ALMOST used Gumi so I could make a Gumi-fire-song-haha joke, but I used Oliver instead…so now we can make a creepy-doll-spooky-sad-Oliver-song joke
I know using Oliver for anything stitches-related isn’t the most original but hey, he just fits, and I actually like how this turned out for once (even if he can’t yell for shite)
Music wise this is a MAJOR experiment for a more slow-paced song with an almost orchestral sound (AKA I used some strings lmao), while still keeping some of them synths in it. It was fun to write but I wanna write something fast now SJGFDSJHJSGHJ
Anyway, the explanation (not necessarily ‘story’ as it’s simply abridged) for this was too long to fit in the description so here it is in a document instead:

I think whenever Patch's eyes go rainbow that means that his Vanishing Beast has taken control of him. because after he sets the forest on fire he looks remorseful, as if he didn't mean to do so
Because I haven't finalized my wording for the story/explanation, I'm just gonna drop here that their names are Patch (the boy) and Insinera (the Vani)!

like, with part one, it talked about the *girl's* obsession with her plants, in her own perspective
part two, it's what the *boy* (steven???) did to all those people and then offed himself
in both parts, the beasts were more of afterthoughts, and weren't really mentioned all too much, meanwhile here the entire song is about her love and desire to protect patch, and i like that perspective change :0

-The "Vani" aka rainbow monsters are representing something (Aberrant Garden- Power, Tundra Lens- Revenge/ Justice? And this one is safety)
-Rainbows have a source other than the eyes. Usually around the heart or lungs. May mean desire
-Each represents an element of nature. Earth, ice, fire. I think air and a few others could be next.??

in the comment section for the boss theme for carnation/xelzerin, its confirmed that an earth and electric one do exist
Also, I noticed that each human character has an accent color that matches the color of the next vani in the series
Kaylee had blue accents, Stephen had red, and patch has yellow. I suspect the yellow vani's element is electric

Wow. This song gave me literal chills. The symphonic composure is amazing and the lyrics weave a strong and convincing story! Wow!! I'm really impressed and I wish I could do music like this!! It's so creepy but somehow convincing and comforting, almost. It's ethereal and amazing.
With the story, the song almost feels short, despite the fact that it's a good 3:25, and that isn't a bad thing. I think it conveys more for the story, about how short-lived this Vanishing Beast's life who loved her host was. Me wishing that there was more is me wishing she had more time with Patch, I suppose, perhaps so she could properly explain what was going on to him and wish him a proper goodbye. And maybe so that /he/ could say goodbye to her too.
I also love how, for part of the music video, you took a more painterly and soft look, especially for the smoke, it fits really well! I also love what you did with the fire circles! Compositionally, I think it's all very strong.
One thing I don't understand in the MV is the green lizard man at 0:52. Is Patches working for him, and he's an abusive boss? Or a projection/imagining of a bad parental guardian? I presume that whoever/whatever it is, they got burned down when Insinera took him over.
For much of the video, I believe the words and lyrics you include add light to what's going on in the video, since much of it is shrouded in darkness and mystery. You especially do a good job of bringing light to Insinera's thoughts with the lyrics.
I hope you don't mind that I went into full-blown constructive criticism mode. Your music videos really inspire me to work and make my own and I hope that I learn a lot from watching them! If I ever do post a full-blown music video I hope you'll help me improve or at the very least watch! Thank you! :D

Ack, a truly emotional roller-coaster- Actually made me cry for once. You know it's a good song when you cry- Now to eventually cover this (horribly) with an Utau because I love this series so much and am too broke to ever actually get Vocaloid.

So at the end (3:21), I noticed that if you look closely, you can see the other colors. Not counting the ones we know, here's what I think their elements are.

Ok jokes aside, that was actually sad?? What happened to the poor momma at the end? To where did she fall? And what happened at the end? Who said "but I'm glad I knew you." ? Was it Patch, meaning Insinera is gone/dead? Or vice versa.
And was that her at 1:32, spewing out the works "It's not right!" ?
Who is flame momma going against? Her own instincts, or some other like her? Who wants to hurt Patch (1:42)? And is it safe to assume that Insinera was once as bad as all the other monsters/aberrations/etc, since she said at 1:53, "Anger plagues my heart again", but was stopped by her love for Patch? Now, following that ("Why have you burned them?") is it also safe to assume that Patch saw her fall into her true form again, when she started setting more than a few curtains on fire?

I think she was facing off against xelzerin/carnation because of the horns and the ants. I can see xelzerin wanting to hurt patch.
It's possible that big monster was the "corrupted" monster we see at the end. The one that's always damaged in some way? (Vines in AG, Broken ice in US and torn paper in this)
Maybe that's the leader, they seem much larger than any of the other beasts.

I've noticed that this song seems to be set in a different time period than the previous ones. Also, at 3:23, you see that there are 8 worlds (??). I believe that the songs don't come in chronological order.I think that this song comes first in the timeline.
Those represent the 10 beasts, the three lit up are the three revealed beasts, Xelzerin Morzogo and Insinera

I just happened to get into this series right before this song was released. I'm totally invested. I love things like this. You pack so much character into just a little song and description, it's incredibly impressive.
Can't wait for the Electricity beast! I know it's up next because of the yellow stitching on the dress of Patch!

this song is not only great music, but also lore wise.
from this song we now know that the vanishing beasts aren't just an isolated occasion, but they work in numbers under what is presumably the black VB. these Vanishing beasts can feel sympathy (which is shown by insinea's motherly relationship with the little boy). and this might be the reason why the VB's choose catalysts that seem to have somewhat troubled pasts or already warped thinking (Kaylee being bullied by the other 'im assuming students in her class' and being called the "crazy headed mayise" could be a hint of some greater hardship going on with Kaylee. and Stephen is defffffinitley very broken at the start of both Tundra lens and Ulterior spectacle, believing that the people that he stone-snapped using the camera had deserved to die).
this also confirms another notion, and that notion is that the vanishing beasts "need" a catalyst child in order to facilitate their destructive impact, as it gives less possibility being tracked and imprisoned by team null.
that, and we now know that there has been strange mutations in the townsfolk of the area, as well as in other areas (the news reporters in ulterior spectacle). which also hints that the vanishing world songs all take place in the same universe, or alternates of the same universe.
(Edit), and we might actually be verging on azure territory with this next one
this also looks like it might be our first look at that oh-so-ominous giant black mark in the circle; presumably the giant beast at 1:34, which can be inferred to be the leader of the vanishing beasts, and the one giving them the orders to kill as many people as possible
insinera breaks away from her brethren in her love for patch, when he finds her carrying out her leader's orders and is terrified/appalled
also, the line "controlled hearts/can't break free/go and knit/destiny" makes me think that the leader might have some sort of mental influence over it's subordinates, with insinera regaining control of herself when she breaks out of the patchwork body and into her giant badass body at the end
however, it could also be a more metaphorical control, with the leader controlling them through fear, and insinera's maternal fury being what compels her to defy the leader regardless, as the line right after is "i'm enraged/terrified/of the/repercussions"
(also, this is purely speculation, but im getting vibes that the assassin at 2:45 might be the electric beast)

Came back to this part just for that end picture of all the circles, because this is the only one where the circles have their respective colors revealed. The last part to show these circles is "Arbitrary Sermon", as "Sleeping with the Fishes" abstains from such (in fairness, "Perennial Crisis" also does this, but it's a remaster of "Aberrant Garden" which did reveal its circle and color.)
Currently, these are the known colors and their respective song/Vani:
Red - Insinera / Anguish of the Patchwork Guardian
Yellow - Deneko / Cognition Factory
Green - Xelzerin / Perennial Crisis
Cyan - Morzogo / Ulterior Spectacle (or the rework, I may edit this later)
Blue - Zatakva / Sleeping with the Fishes
Violet - Alatori / Arbitrary Sermon
As someone else figured out, there's a specific color in each part that foreshadows the next part - "Anguish of the Patchwork Guardian" has the Sparkthread that's a golden yellow, which foreshadowed "Cognition Factory". The remaining colors, according to this part, are Orange, Grey, White, and Black. Due to Agata's hair color being auburn, I think we're getting Orange next, which will be Baltzival, the Rock Vani.
Furthermore, we can even guess the colors and match it to a Vani who hasn't gotten any significant spotlight yet. We can subtract 3 Vani from the pool as well - Zahalkro who's defected from the mission, Bellojay who hasn't defected but isn't getting particularly involved, and Kalkori who's completely feral.
Orange - Baltzival [We're getting him after the Ulterior Spectacle rework because he'll be the last of the non-neutral colors, and the neutrals are Ultra Important]
Grey - Ohazia [Due to her devotion to the mission, she's gunning for Zahalkro's head. Whether or not she succeeds is anyone's guess, but I'm hoping it'll spur Bellojay into joining the resistance.]
White - Noktakaze [The current leader of the Earth Team, it's speculated that our MC Madeline is her tether. This will be a very important confrontation.]
Black - Luktreal [Either the final boss or the penultimate fight. Something must be done about the flesh lake.]

i love the mix of the music box and the strings in this, as well as the soft percussion through the song. the bits of synth mixed in (0:41) are a wonderful touch as well. the small use of the sitar in this song is absolutely astounding as well, something so small and simple adding so much to the song, but i may be a bit biased because its my favorite instrument. sitars always sound like a sharp warmth or heat to me, and to many other musicians too apparently, so to have them in this song about fire and love is great. im also a really big fan of the sort of brushing sounds that are at 2:18, its a really nice soft sound and i like its rhythmic, steady use. i love this song so so much its just so unique compared to all the other parts of vanishing world :)))
edit like a minute later: the soft breaths taken before a lot of the verses are amazing since theyre not just an unconscious action from actual vocalization, they had to be purposefully made and added in. theres so many small details in this song that add to its overall wonder :)
