thank you for listing my PSO Tool GUI, really glad you found it and it is the preferred method over using old shared keys as you will get a unique serial and access key this way and it can still be registered on Sylverant where as you can't and shouldn't try to register one that is likely already being used by lots of other people.
the more people using a unique serial and access key the better 😄plus my software will also allow you to patch existing saves if you want to convert it from a shared one to a unique one.
Line voltager is out of stock. Any other alternatives?
Is it possible to find any of this on AliExpress too?
@@LightOfSkyFalling you can make your own with a dirt cheap usb step up board with a pot to adjust the output voltage
What perfect timing for this video. I got a RetroTINK-4K a few days ago and took out my Dreamcast today, and was messing around with it. I was wondering if there was still a way to play Phantasy Star Online... well, online. Oh, what a day! What a lovely day!
looks like the saturday session is about to get busier lol
@ 3:17 it looks like the background on your PC is using your mom's vibe 👀😅
I’ve been meaning to get this going for a while now. This is the push I needed to re flash my pi 3 and get the ball rolling. Thanks!
It's too bad a method like this didn't exist back in the early 2000s. Having to keep an extra dial up account when most people were switching to cable internet was a pain in the ass! Not to mention the annoyance of always using the phone line.
I had dial up until the 2010s.
I'm way too lazy to do all that but that's pretty amazing it's still possible to do online gaming
Cool, thanks for doing videos like this. Lovin your channel cuz you cover all points when you can.
I used to play PSO constantly when it was active.
I think it still is active.
still is, more than ever
Now 🎉time to tag up Jet grind radio world with NSFW images like i did in 2000.
The thought of playing PSO online with a Dreamcast is amazing. I can’t wait to do this.
Love PSO for Dreamcast great memories need to get back on some time
Would be cool if there was a version of this for Gamecube.
I had a lot of fun playing PSO on Blue Burst
i miss dramcast day they coming out so many good game
you can configure the pi from the raspberry pi imaging tool, no need for anything external
Hey MLP what kind of gdemu are you using?Which model has a nvme attachment like that? That is cool
Terraonion MODE actually
Just out of curiosity, are you familiar with the "Treamcast"?
I was so used to the lock on system to fight from Zelda Ocarina of time. I loved it so much that i could not enjoy Fantasy star online comfortably. But then again a great game when you get passed this inconvienence. I had a great time with that game and also and even more with Quake III arena. But on dreamarena i messaged a lot on the forums. Is there anyway to see the posts on the forums? Is it all gone?
If you still remember the URL, it might be worth it checking Internet Archive. Otherwise, yeah, it's pretty much all gone, I'm afraid.
interesting desktop background
Ideed. I want to know as well,so I can add to my wallpaper engine list
maybe i can make raspberry pi powerred dreamcast enthernet adapter
i gonna buy a dreamcast kiosk from europe for 1500 follar is it a ccd nad idea i games codt more
Wow what an awesome looking Dreamcast, id would want one but the online access is not enough to make me spend almost $1000 for a modded Dreamcast like this, the Dreamcast emulator is enough for me.
It's not expensive if you get everything separately instead of buying an overpriced premodded one.
@@MacUser2-il2cx less expensive than free?
Any Dreamcast can go online, doesn't have to be a modded system at all. Could be one you found for $20 at a yard sale, a new one in the box, a Japanese import, or one with mods... doesn't matter. The mods my system has, has nothing to do with going online.
Lmk where you get your dreamcasts
I will never do this but it's still cool
any chance you could recommend a safe place to buy pre modded dreamcasts?
Is anyone going to talk about that wallpaper? What was that anime woman bouncing up and down on?
Love the video, but what is going on here??? 3:25
Is there a solution to load games from an adapter replacing the modem?
Easy setup my ***
when I play my dreamcast online I use my ethernet Modem Adapter Or I use my netopia R2020 Router
Can the dreamcast browser 2.0 be used to surf into the internet?
has any one try doing this on linux x86 i like do this ina vm
Sweet
Thats a LOTTTTTTT of cables and steps...sure something will come out eventually which will be an AIO solution.
Werd!
🤘🕹🎮🍻
And how do i do this when my dreamcast has a modem?
Watch the video, it's literally for the Dreamcast modem.
bah
Yea, that’s way too much just to get ur Dreamcast online 😂
That would be your opinion. I, personally, think it’s great. Phantasy Star Online for the DC is an amazing game that people are still playing. I think it is cool that we have a way to preserve history, and anyone that tried to get their stock Dreamcast online back in 2000 knows it wasn’t easy back then, either! 😂
