My son lives over there as a DoD contractor on an Army base. He's been trying to find places to fish and how to fish Korea. I linked him your channel. I sent him a 12' surf casting rod, which looks about perfect for that kind of fishing!

That is not possible. Using some part for reference is re-use but using exactly same video and just put different language on the exactly same video violates UA-cam copyright policy as well and I cannot accept that.

@@rockyshore-english yeah definitely. I've caught some before on a charter boat but I havent tried it from shore. Do any yellowtail come up this way? Or sharks?
@@megaconda07 As far as I know, there is almost no possibility to catch Yellowtail from shore in the West Sea. But if you come down yo Busan or Geoje, you can catch them from shore.
Hello, I am new to the to the ROK and live near Gunsan. I was wondering if you knew where I could find the laws and permits if any that are required for fishing in this area in English. I've looked and I can't seem to find any, thank you and great video!

I actually don't know as well as for fishing regulations in English.
What I can tell you is that we have a website of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in English.

I'm in South Korea every year for a few weeks, my wife is Korean but we life in Germany. Sadly i never had a chance to go fishing there, but want to try on my next visit. How about fishing license in south korea when i want to go fishing around seoul / uiwang.. rivers lakes.. lure fishing or fly fishing. In germany we need a fishing license and have to buy a ticket for every water. how about in korea!?
We don't have fishing license here yet. We only adhere to release size, fish protected period like that. But I do not know much about fresh water fishing.

You can enjoy everywhere in Korea. There is no need fishing license.
yes you don't need a license but you shouldn't catch small fish.
Before you take fish make sure that the fish you caught is big enough to take legally.
