So me and my stupid mind started wondering, if world really had nothing that could stop her to confess to the listener while she still wanted to and it had to include that listener didn't just die or smth so that her and listener were still regularly meeting and talking. I came to the conclusion, that only someone dear to listener falling gravely ill would probably be enough. It would take years or even decades with some absurd plot before she would have a solid chance to shoot her shot with the listener and not come off as u-nempathetic or smth.
