The actor is really very very hot, but in the movie his character acted just like a jerk when he made a non asked comment about her dress in front of all their workmates comparing it with a grandma's dress. It was gross and humiliating. I would hate a guy like this and send him to the moon instead, even if he would be the hottest guy on earth. This is what I understand under self love and self respect.

Clicked it and this movie was playing, 2 min in I was like wait a min, I've seen this! I'd recognize that man anywhere! Lol
I don’t like how he acted like it was all her fault. However he is right that you do need to have a level of self respect. If the relationship is one sided and the other person isn’t reciprocating or showing that they value and care about you then talk to them and if they don’t step up it’s probably time to move on. It’s good that she’s kind and caring. But also as a woman you need to let the man pursue and not just make it too easy. Like don’t keep calling and texting if he isn’t ever contacting you first. Like it’s good to be a kind caring person but yeah don’t treat the guy like you are his mother. You can be kind without being a pushover or desperate.
I think she doesn’t seem to realize she needs to act like he doesn’t effect her actions besides basic job requirements you don’t do extra for a guy at work. Let them go out of their way to pursue you.
