I really like this! I prefer bold color, but I can also appreciate subtle. My husband likes it and his taste is developing... I am introducing him to a "wacky" world of things he never knew existed, like ball jointed dolls and kaleidoscope colored furniture..lol. As I ponder the furniture in the house, I wonder which will look good in this style. Wonderful tutorial! Thank you!

Crys’Dawna, thanks for introducing Posca pens , I barely ever gave them any shred of attention, like I know they exist , but now I’ll have to try them for real! That piece looks super cool, different from your usual. And I watched your 10minTues and I had no idea you were going through all that. Hugs.
I have watched you long enough to know to definitely TRUST the process!!! This came out awesome! Lots of movement yet tranquil. Great work! On your recommendation I ordered the carbide scraper. It has been a life saver. I am still using it for scraping layers of paint off my stair risers. For whatever reason there is a substance/coating/gunk that was put between the wood and the paint that it does not take off but I am not ready to give up just yet. We have a Great Dane (Pawlie) and three Boston Terrier siblings (George, Gus, Franki) who all have the best snaggle teeth that get stuck!!!! Over bites are hilarious! Have a wonderful holiday!

My husband left the Marine Corps 35 years ago. It is so hard for people who haven’t led that life to understand how different it is from civilian life. When you leave military service you lose everything. Your home, your community and your support system. The comradery doesn’t exist in the civilian world. Someone commented to me that it wasn’t like someone died, but that’s exactly what it’s like. Even if you chose to leave, the transition is beyond stressful. It’ll take time, but you’ll be fine
Yes it is like you are mourning a life you are leaving, the military isn’t just a job, it is all encompassing in every aspect of your life.

Put it on canvas and I'll buy it from you! I bought a similar style painting possibly from the 60's of daisies. The artist's signature is illegible so I cannot find more pieces from her/him. Love it. Your Rupert is adorable!
It definitely looks like a process you HAVE to trust, bc once that pen is used, it DOES make more sense and looks fabulous. I wasn't expecting those results, but GREAT JOB! Its lovely!
