I love how the last one that was aired during the Drew era (likely taped a lot earlier) featured Greg Proops as the guest, while the first one that aired during the Aisha Tyler era ALSO featured him as the guest! When I watched this Irish Drinking Song back when it aired, it really felt like they'd never left.
Feels crazy that such iconic delusions have appeared in peoples 20s and 30s instead of childhood. Same feels. If you thought everything should be perfect off the bat, you wouldnt be using those dashes in your profile description lmaooooo
This is an incredible compilation; it's hard to believe there are only an hour of these, given how memorable they are! It's also telling that I mostly remember the endings. One would come on and I'd think "Man, this one has a great ending!" Also, just letting you know, as 19:40, "Got pregnant on a date", it still says "Graduation". :)
The Hoedowns are fine.. but overrated. I pretty much prefer all other musical games to the Hoedowns. IDS is brilliant. It requires much more quick thinking improv skills from the actors.
While I love both IDS and Hoedown, multiple cast members have said that while you have to think quicker on IDS, Hoedown is technically harder. This is because instead of having a few seconds to come up with one line, you have less than a minute to come up with an entire verse to a song. 😀
Drew was the worst part of these, wish he’d stayed behind the desk. He also needed to stop asking questions where the answer is ALWAYS graduation or wedding
