Awesome play. Damn you really have your game down. Whish I stick with magic from the beginning. I was huge into it in 93. I worked at our local comic/hobby the disturber came one day and showed us this new card game coming. He gave us all alpha starter decks and booster packs. In 2 weeks when the game came out we bought almost everything before we even set it out on the floor. I collected a massive collection until 98 then I graduated college and couldn't afford it like I used to. So I stopped collecting. Only playing MTG 2013-15 video games. I started arena about 3 weeks ago hit Platinum tier last night. Thanks to a mermaid agro deck I crafted that feels like cheating lol. I dropped $20 into the starter bundle and gems. But still haven't played in one event. I noticed drafts are a good way to build your collection so I'm studying all your videos to learn the cards and card combos. I do miss the social part of FNM. But Im still Loving arena as being in my 40s I would probably feel awkward at FNM. Thank you again love they way you explain your drafts. They are extremely informative.

I dont know if its worse to feel stupid for losing the game by playing around settle in limited against an opponent who didnt have it. Or to not play around it and get blown out.

I'm building a sai master thopterist deck. I'm including some windreader sphinxes and tezzerets. What else should I add to trigger said ability? I have jhoiras familiar

He doesn't always get good cards, he even says in this video that he got an unusually good draft with Settle and Dryad. One example of this is Guilds of Ravnica quick draft where I think he did very well with beamsplitter mages.
Have you ever done the attack with warkite marauder and sack firebrand trick? It works so well taking out big threats

Well, that's settled then.
Played my first draft ever today and won 7 games with a failed dinosaur deck with red/green and splashed black for a mythic planeswalker. I can't believe I won 7 games is was a really terrible deck. The strongest dinosaur card I had was that G/R 4 mana, the rest were pretty crap but I did happen to get 1 forerunner and manage to play it in nearly all my games. Are players really this soft or did I just get lucky? Compared to mtgo this feels much easier.
Once you get to Platinum you'll notice an increased difficulty.
@@LegenVD Ahh I never realize the mm was based on tier ranks. Bronze is pretty soft. Lots of players with weak decks. I guess it would be a good idea to stop playing and wait for a reset once you get higher tier?
