Loved your video. Had my gun disassembled. Had to go to a gun Smith to get it assembled. Wish you had posted it a few days earlier. I out the hammer back in but the spring was a problem for me. Didn't know where to put it. Had a doubt that its gonna go in but was afraid to apply force 😅

You did a very good job, use the base white below and the camera is HD.

While installing the extractor back in place, since the firing pin has to be all the way in. Hence, instead of keeping it all the way in by finger, it may be locked by first pushing the firing pin block down and keeping it pushed down, then by pushing the pin all the way in and lastly by releasing the firing pin block to pop up on the already inversed slide to keep the fully forward firing pin in a locked state. This spares the finger which was to be used for that purpose and makes it easier to install the extractor.

The small string like spring inside the extractor acts as a loaded chamber indicator, as when the extractor rides the rim of the loaded round in the chamber, the rim pushes this spring and it protrudes and pops up on the slide side (near the ejection port), indicating that there is a round in the chamber.

Excellent video! I did a "first time" disassembly last night (not to the level as you did on this useful video, it was just to clean the inside of the polymer frame). Anyway, after reassembling the slide/barrel assembly, I grabbed the trigger assembly to place back on the pistol grip assembly AND THEN a lateral pin slipped out, and then another (as I had no initial intention to strip the trigger assembly I never gave the mechanism a close look) Your video's a godsend for sure. however, do you still have the pictures that you took prior to disassembly? If so, could you share them with me? Your video is excellent but there are moments where I can't tell what I'm looking at (shadows). Thanks, and excellent video once again!

thats the disadvantage to close up and thats why i do a reassembly, normally i dont cos its just the reverse. hopefully you catch it on the reassembly.
