Stewart in the first 4 games is sitting close to the same production Tez had last year. I think as the season goes on, defense will key on Tez, allowing E Stew to get more completions. I just think it’ll take some time.

As a Duck fan who has been to 3 games this season, Evan Stewart has been wide open on virtually every pass play. I think Tez gets the most receptions because they’re the easier throws

It's wild, because almost every single play there are 2-3 wide open guys. Gabriel is SO fast on his progressions that he doesn't let those deeper routes develop because the underneath route is already open and he dumps it.

@@Waaterbottle exactly. He takes the easy money way too quickly and Tez is usually the benefactor

Tbh all the receivers have been getting open on almost every play. But stein would rather throw constant bubble screen rather than throwing the ball downfield which is where E Stew thrives. Tez is open every play too. Same with Holden.
But in reality, how many passes does Stein even call per game beyond 10 yards downfield? 5-8? Maybe. He wants to throw bubble screens on 3/4 of the pass attempts.

DG seems to always have Tez as his first read which is a little concerning. Tez is great, and I love he is featured, but I worry if a team takes him away the offense could struggle.

My list, so far, compared to what we thought in preseason:
    Risers(Or guys playing really well):
    Brandon Johnson
    Boettcher
    Jabbar
    Devon Jackson
    Burch
    Harmon
Guys not playing as well as we thought they would up to this point:
    Entire Oline except Conerly
    Bassa/Jacobs(Injuries?)
    Kobe Savage(Give Flowers some PT)
    Kam Alexander(?)
    RB room
E Stew(perimeter blocking has not been great from any WRs tbh)
Purchase(wish he was getting more PT)
And Matayo has struggled against run but overall I think he’s playing pretty well, especially rushing the passer. But all 3 of our young edge rushers need to improve a lot against the run/keeping containment or we are going to be in big trouble against the best teams.

Completely agree with this list. If i were to have expanded it would look something like this. I sneaky would like to see the RB room play better as well. I know the OL has struggled but the last 2 games felt as if they have left some bigger runs on the table.

I want to see DB throw the ball to E Stewart more for the big plays. As going to Game 5, I think it's important for the ducks to have big plays more and more.

Need Stewart to get more involved. I think you are right he is that deeper thrid threat that Oregon will need in the biggest games.

I think it’s because we still haven’t seen the pass game yet holding back.

I agree on the Stewart and his involvement but I also think Tez is doing too much. He doesn't need to be on all the special teams. Can someone tell me where J Harris is
