Baba said "like Christ". The student did not understand, and asked, how did Christ meditate? Baba replied "he lost himself in love". I think of those words every single day. Because of Baba, I can do that - I can lose myself in love. And it's a lovely place to be lost. Perfection.

I hate myself when I drink sharab (alcohol) because I suffer from depression, my whole
persona changes. I came across Krishna Dass on UA-cam and ended up here. This
song started playing by default 'next' on my channel.
Something happened. I looked at the glass of wine (sharab) on my desk, it seemed far
away, although it was right there, next to the mouse. I looked at the glass; it
looked at me. The draw had gone, the bond broken. But for how long? I realised
my body was swaying, side-to-side, an ocean’s wave in sync with the chant ‘Hanuuu...maan’.
Yet Impulsively my hand reached for the glass, I took a sip. "Om namo
shivaya", I heard, again and again. My tongue tasted the bitterness; yet I
still swallowed. A slight shiver of distaste down the spine.
This song - or whatever you call it - a mantra, a hymn in tongues... I call it a spiritual
salve needs to be heard.
It’s a portal to our lost, but rightful place in the cosmos.

He was named after a tree! That is amazing, and one of most complex tree's structures ever found on Earth. There is no right and wrong at least not with this one. Miracles comes in all shapes and sizes. Beautiful is so little to describe it. One doesn't need to be so spiritually inclined to understand this. One just need to look at and feel it! But whenever I go to Kainchi , I feel his presence, and almost every time something or the other happens which you cannot call as coincidence = always a pleasant, divine experience. A very old thin man lived near my dad's village. My dad took me along to see him and seek his blessings. This was when I was 25yrs and my dad was 55yrs old. When we saw him sitting among a group of people, we touched his feet. He was old and apparently not in the mood to speak but he smiled often. On our way back, my dad told me that since his childhood he has seen this old saint in the same place and same condition and he has not changed in last fifty years. People say that this old saint turns to tiger during some nights and goes to nearby jungle to spend a couple of months and he has been doing it ever since my father was a child.
