@hawkvswolf I just received a FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) diagnosis that is a physical pain from mental health disorders. Hearing a modern doctor address the push back by patients on their diagnosis is enlightening because I thought it was only me who felt so negatively about it. I was told 5 days ago. On a psych wait-list. Until then, I'll just keep pushing through/skating. Thank you two for everything. Thank all of your team. 🙏
Never heard of it but I’ll be googling it as it’s peaked my interest. I suffer from forms of mental illness myself as well as ADD. Haha I rollerbladed aka ‘booted from 12-16. Was actually pretty good and had a setup at my house. Skating just hits differently, it feels like it rewires your mind. I've shared for years, bmx (Street and dirt), martial arts professionally, and some others. I will say no other thing had me thinking about its sport like skating has. You go out you think about "why am I walking I could be skating" when you see a small curb, a tiny gap, etc... you think about what fun it would be to skate here. When I did my first trailwhip on my bike, or my first butterfly twist for tricking (gymnastics and flips) they didn't feel anywhere near as good as learning a new skateboard trick.
Great episode, I'm currently recovering from an 80% torn ACL, done physio to build up muscle around it to support it without surgery, but I'm definitely holding back now when skating.
Good Dr. Not like many Drs who just look down on patients like they are ignorant or careless in a rush..especially when it's a intelligent patient who just wants answers

Yea ..It's blowing my mind how normal non skateboardin people actually don't know Tony Hawk , but everyone knows Tony Hawk - He is the bridge to Skateboarding ..so basically it's like non skateboarding people only heard or seen that bridge , but never stepped on it or went to see what it's about, it's amazing. For most of them Tony Hawk is just a name and Skateboarding is just a word.

The staph / spider bite mix up comes from the brown recluse bite . Which in CA is a very thing . Father in law was bit 3 × . Sense the bite it was on his face the last time . They did , he was fine no huge scars !!
Stellar episode🤘 The set looks killer👌 I'm downloading 1944 after this!😅 But (as a skater and a blader) I'm so disappointed the Doc didn't elaborate on his rollerblading🤦
