I love that you’re still doing this - I last year was my first time and despite how it ended I’m so glad I went. It may not have had some of the big names but I’m eternally grateful to you for preserving these priceless videos.
So, almost 20yr later…what was the story with Big Bossman’s exhaust?😮
@@ZacYatesThank you!! As for the exhaust, one of the clamps came off and the burned through. The only thing that kept it in the cowling was the exhaust door in the manual closet position. They welded it up and finished the race week with it, then Mike had a custom set made for both engines. The new exhaust had a tapered tip which increased back pressure for more power, and at the same time gave her that loud howl that she has to this day
