I too love the Jackson Southsenaires. Growing up, church and school were our only outlets. But my brother and I loved both. We even had our own singing group, “The Friendly Five” and had practice at our home once a week. As we got older the group was dismantled due to the fact we all had other interests. I am the only girl with four brothers. I am the second oldest. My oldest brother is 2 years apart. We were very close I think because the other three 5 to 10 years younger. My oldest brother was called to Glory in 2004 from prostate cancer. Two years after he passed I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. In 2012 I was cancer free and remain so until this day. God is good.
God blessed me to see the Jackson Southernaires in person numerous times over the years! They never failed to glorify and exalt my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in song each time! Yessss! I neeeed Jesus to hold my weak and trembling hand! Praise ye the Lord FOREVER, saints! He is WORTHY!!!❤

This inner food that real Gospel music has within it is the reason you by-pass this new stuff and go back to the real stuff that feeds and soothes. This contemporary Gospel does not do that, in my opinion all it does is make you want to dance and move your body much in the same way you would if you were listening to Rhythm and Blues, in fact contemporary Gospel is the new Rhythm and Blues because a lot of today's singers, can't sing.

I was praying for comfort and strength to help me because my Grandson has been missing a year and 2 months and for the last few days the pain of his disappearance came rushing back.
