I Remember years ago this girl I met on imvu sharing this with me she was amazing but we just couldn't be together back than becouse of things going on and we lost contact but now and than I still come here to listen to it when I think of her
I've never heard anything like this... never this must be a kind of heaven-sent, or a kind of idealistic perfection that is brought to this world; by Yoko, the lyricist(I forgot his name), Steve and Maaya. (don't forget Borodin!) I feel like a blessing of a universe. Supernovas, Atoms... A lovers in lost dimension...
The first song we listened to together...Do you remember that moment? Now there r no way to get back because everything is the past and the past is always the past. I couldn't help crying when talking to you for the last time. We had a wonderful time together and i have no regrets...I'm still in love and still waiting for the day i accidentally meet you on those streets. When you can read this comment, please don't be sad because i'm not vanished, i'm always in your beautiful heart and you r in mine...
I wish there was more songs like this the lyrics, the tune, the voices, altogether they give this undiscribable feeling, some thing warm and relaxing and something i cant describe in words its like your soul is dancing or somthing i really love songs like this!! Note i usually use this song when i go to sleep the feeling is so relaxing it gets me to sleep all the time and especially when i study a big solution to a noisy environment Plz add me!!
I love the fact that no matter how much time may pass, this song is always my favorite. Everyone who I show this song to has a different opinion of its meaning, it's so funny! :)
I thought this part might be long so I'll do it here. The subtlety I was talking about was that in some scenes eva shows things from the past just for a brief moment, like how yui disappeared into the eva, it doesn't exactly show how but you can hear the people panicking in the background then it cuts out and it later shows in further eps that gendo tried his best to get her out because they got shinji out of the eva using the notes they got from gendo trying to get yui out of eva but failing .
Kim in her past held a stuffed animal and had ponytails all just like asuka.. and the similarities in the formula is this, Parental death, doorway, refusal to cry. It'd be easier if i had pictures but i'll have to explain to you. Both of their parents die and they find out by opening a door (asuka finds dead mom) (kim sees her relatives and they tell her) then it shows them crying, later to show that they made up the resolve to not cry anymore and be strong.
My greatest wish is to find a woman who understands and not only appreciates, but lives all the subtle symbolism within this song and its much deeper, esoteric meanings...eve, torn from Adams (atoms) side, reunited as one, under the tree of life, made out of miracles...paranirvana....
Here are some enemy similarities: angels are pattern blue while mu have blue blood There are twin enemies in both anime There is an enemy that sucks both characters into another world Halo shaped enemy Long legged enemy in both Big flying enemy in both Similar shaped enemy in orbit, both taken out by red object from the eva or rah and Enemy with human inside
it's actually just a tribute to the instrumentality project of the anime it was based on, evangelion. look closely at the screen after reading these facts instrumentality .makes everybody into one being by turning them into lcl (ancestral soup) and everyone and their memories mix into each other for eternity. also the lcl envelops almost all of earth.
usually i don't toss myself into other people's debates but seeing as the other guy hasn't replyed in a month i'll answer for him first off Quon is not a Rei clone, Rei is detatched and and barely speaks, Quon is friendly and willing to interact second, who's Cathy third, Haruka and Misato have different personalities and connections with the main character and Quon was able to surpass Rahxephon's evolution in one go because she was fully prepared to do so unlike Ayato
Something Odd. i was listening to the classical station the other day and i found a song... that sounds a lot like this one at 1:08. the song is polovtsian dance no. 2 i dont know if the song writer did this on purpose, or not... anyway... i love both songs, but i think the Garden of Everything is a better song. anyway if you wanna check out the similarites just type polovtsian dance no. 2 into the youtube search bar. it should pop right up.
stuffed animal and ponytails don't matter those are common amongst little girls, the parental death part is true, the doorway you could even say is true though i'm still willing to say that it's irrelevant, and Kim didn't refuse to cry, she swore revenge for the sake of her parents
Quon is only friendly with ayato and his brother the scientist. Also she has no past just like rei. Cathy is a white girl who pilots the first mass produced vermillion and brags about it, she dies in the end and has the same attitude as asuka. Haruka is a major in rank who saves ayato in the first episode, in the story she is the one who is in charge of ayato and used to go out with someone who continously appears in the story she also ends up kissing ayato right before he turns into a god
i'll finish with this, Rahxephon is similar to Evangelion, most likely it was partially inspired by it, but Evangelion is also very similar to older mech anime like Megazone 23 and Mobile Suit Gundam, even some scenes could look similar, but it does not mean it is imitating those anime, because it comes with it's own original story and it's own unique cast of characters, as does Rahxephon and that it why i do not believe that Rahxephon is in any way, shape, or form, and Evangelion imitation
and the LFOs in Eureka Seven is made from scubs, does that make Eureka Seven an Evangelion imitation too, and i've already admit, twice, that Rahxephon is similar to Evangelion
oh you mean that website that has all those screen shots comparing Rahxephon and Evangelion, yeah i've been there before, but why does it matter if they look the same when the context is completely different
Rahxephon was done by Studio Bones not Gainax, and i believe the characters were fleshed out, but the character formula you are speaking of are used in a large chunk of anime and Kim's past is nothing like Asuka's, Kim's past was her parents dying while away on a buisness trip, Asuka's past was her mother going crazy and replacing her with a doll before commiting suicide, how in the hell are Kim and Asuka similar at all
does description say that that song appeared in Wolf's Rain or have I just understood it this way? if it's really appeared then can someone tell me which episode was it? thanks for help ^^ !
Give me some examples of the symbolism used I might have something to say about that. Moving on, the characters are not at all different, ask anyone who watched eva and ask who is similar in rah and they would most likely point out a lot of clones. (including the enemies) I won't get into the part about it being deep since we might have different opinions and mine will probably biased to yours, but if you want to talk about it, discuss it in your next comment.
oh there are similarities i'd be fairly ignorant not to admit that, but i'm saying that the characters are not clones of other characters and the show actually has a proper coherent ending
Yeah, no kiddin'... I have both WOLF'S RAIN soundtracks and this song isn't in either one... And I doubt Yoko Kanno will use the same exact song in two totally different animes... Never heard of it...
... Except it's not. The entire theme of RahXephon was 'Music changes the World', which is reflected in this particular piece. RahXephon is often compared to it's contemporary, NGE, but they're two very different beasts, and RahXephon is far more coherent. So you really have no leg to stand on. At all.
No it doesn't I know, but compared to those kinds of similarities rahxephon is extremely similar to evangelion, it ranges from characters to even enemies and I can't keep my mind off the idea that rah is just some fanfiction lacking the weight and subtlety that evangelion had. Not trying to say it was bad though, I liked it a lot. (mostly because it was similar to eva)
I guess, but really I think that the people from gainax who worked on rah should've created more fleshed out characters and not have to use the same character formula they did on eva. I mean did you see kim's past? same as asuka's for crying out loud
That still doesn't cover up the fact that most scenes and details in rahxephon are very similar to evangelion. Like the vermillion being made out of dolls like the eva were made out of the angels adam and lilith. At the least show me some solid proof that disproves mine.
um did you just say Evangelion was subtle, the symbolism in that show was about as subtle as a brick to the face, and the characters are totally different the ones in Rahxephon being more relatable while the ones in Evangelion just angsted to try and seem deep, don't get me wrong i like Evangelion and i think all anime fans should watch it at least once, but it wasn't solid mostly because of Anno writing the show based on what critics said about previous episodes
ok I am very sorry if i was giving off that vibe, i don't mean any harm by what i say and i don't mean to insult your opinion, i just enjoy debating with people over this kind of thing but there's no one i know in real life that's really into anime, and even less people anywhere that have actually seen Rahxephon so i just sort of jumped at this oppertunity, i'm sorry if you felt insulted
I Remember years ago this girl I met on imvu sharing this with me she was amazing but we just couldn't be together back than becouse of things going on and we lost contact but now and than I still come here to listen to it when I think of her
this song is amazing and beautiful. it will always be one of my favorites!

Awesome
Love song
:') beautiful
This song reminds me of paperboats from transistor for some reason
hey there alphajediknight, this song appeared in the RahXephon movie just in case you havnt found out yet.
There are 9 complicated people.
They don't understand what music is. One should see the qualities in music regardless of how slow or hard it may be.
you'd still be able to watch it if you googled the link.
Its called evaxephon.
OMG that was awsome!! XD
@TrueFoundingFathers oh, okay, thank you veru much ^^
(quick note) people from gainax worked on the rah project.
usually i don't toss myself into other people's debates but seeing as the other guy hasn't replyed in a month i'll answer for him
first off Quon is not a Rei clone, Rei is detatched and and barely speaks, Quon is friendly and willing to interact

Ya its in the rahxephon sound track

Here we didn't know that Maaya Sakamoto is Lightning's va :33
oops wait let me rephrase.
Its actually just a tribute to the instrumentality project of an anime rahxephon was based on, evangelion.
Lyrics by Chris Mosdell

Hey!!!! What ever happened to the actual video!!! I saw it a few times and then it was pulled off I guess.
Quon is only friendly with ayato and his brother the scientist.
Also she has no past just like rei.
Cathy is a white girl who pilots the first mass produced vermillion and brags about it, she dies in the end and has the same attitude as asuka.

how do you dislike this song this song is so sexy
It's the song from the RAHXEPHON movie...
If only fantasy coexists with reality
what are the japanese lyrics in the counter melody of the chorus?
mola :D
I just came up with a good idea for my next video...
all I need now is the clips to make it...
Is this what falling in love sounds like?
oh you mean that website that has all those screen shots comparing Rahxephon and Evangelion, yeah i've been there before, but why does it matter if they look the same when the context is completely different

@loginanout Is your shift button broken?

Huh?!
That still doesn't cover up the fact that most scenes and details in rahxephon are very similar to evangelion. Like the vermillion being made out of dolls like the eva were made out of the angels adam and lilith.
At the least show me some solid proof that disproves mine.
This is mine and my boyfriend's song. :3 yee.
you see the similarities?
