The straight pipe one sounded phenomenal seriously. Full bodied roar during that burnout. Sounded way better than the 2000 dollar exhaust
The 2,000$ exhaust hasn’t settled in yet so can’t really tell the sound
I just put a motordyne y pipe on my Maxima and went with a muffler delete. Sounds great!

Damn can't imagine the drone on the straight pipe. Gonna be killer. Borla will be more daily drive friendly and has a nice tone to it as well with probably much less drone. Still both sound pretty amazing. To each his own, their car they can do whatever they want.

Ive got my RT straight piped, love a good straight pipe but I love that the Borla exhaust lets the supercharger whine be heard. Id listen to that over an exhaust all day
Borla system by far. It’s 3 inch all the way for starters and has an x pipe so instead of just being loud it’s gonna make a noticeable amount of power more than the 2.5 straight pipe with no x pipe.
wow you would make an extra 3-5 PEAK horsepower meaning at redline you will notice gains, the true duals will have more low/mid range power for street/strip exactly what this guy is going for, before you try to give a lesson on how exhaust systems work you should do your research bozo.

Get an premium exhaust kit for a deep refined tone and sound with no drone. Go straight pipe for just raw sound. Straight pipe is brutal for a daily, that drone will eat you alive.

the silver redeye sounds like a widebody scatpack. From what I'm guessing, the x-pipe delete gives it a lower sound pitch
So after the Rear Muffler/Resignator delete. What do you recommend to take more of ther raspy out? Mid Muffler super 10's or just leave as is?

I've been thru so many different exhausts on both my hemi ram and srt4 neon and both now have borla. I'll never try anything else. I'm about to modify a axle back coyote borla atak to fit my srt4

Borla atak most likely has air leaks at the clamps making it raspy, I tried installing mine 3 times couldn’t get rid of the raspiness. Too thin of material to be welded had to return it unfortunately
The drone tho better off taking just the mid mufflers. Less drone. I did with mine. You get the full effect when you step on the gas.

Unfair comparison if you ask me. The biggest difference in sound is the removal of the x-pipe. Kinda makes it more of a dramatic difference than it should be.

Absolutely different! The purple is much higher. I noticed factory variance when I debagded my 392 and added the Daytona 392 sticker (more stealthy). I took measurements from cars online and found while the Daytona 392 sat higher than original badging, even across Daytonas there was a lot of variance. It drove my OCD nuts. I took the average and laser measure it onto mine. On these cars I’m guessing they missed the badge template on the production line originally and added it afterwards, or these people swapped the badges themselves.

My cammed SS Camaro is straight piped with long tubes and my buddies corsa extreme with long tubes. Every time we ride he always tells he wasted his money because mine sounds soooo much better. Idk because his sounds amazing as well 🤷🏽♂️. Borla definitely sounds better with these setups over straight pipes

The second exhaust was full cringe. You are comparing a quality exhaust system with lifetime warranty to a hack job that is smaller in size, made of cheap aluminized tubing, with no proper scavenging, and is only three decibel louder than the Borla with a shitty raspy tone.
