would be cool to use termux in the future ( with ethernet adapter), but i'm sure there will be a lot of methods soon
Good news for anyone running 9.03 to 11.00 - but it remains to be seen if it's going to be of any benefit to anyone already running with 9.00 and PiZero automated setup. At the moment there's no indication yet of when we might see something more convenient. PiZero setup doesn't need any manual unplugging, to achieve that convenience this is going to have to work on the LAN without touching the ethernet cable, such as the exploit running on a docker on a server (PiZero, other Pi, NAS, etc.) that doesn't need to be touched and is always active.
When goldhen is ported to this will you always have to redo it through ethernet cable everytime ps4 is turned off?

This is just the ps4 version of the shop firmware that was released on ps3 4.11 i honestly dont think its going to be able to do much. Running homebrew might be out of the question.
Im running on unjailbroken 10,50 i try the vitrual box and my ps4 rebooted and shut off at stage 2
I can't get this exploit to work. I have Python installed. Unless I'm missing something, I'm pretty sure I have the necessary files, including Modded Warfare's GUI for Windows. I keep getting error messages whenever I try to run the exploit via the GUI, and my PC claims that it can't find Python. I'm on PS4 firmware 10.1, by the way.
did you install python from windows store? try downloading it from python website and install it from the setup file, you should open cmd and check if python is installed, maybe it's not added to the environment, have you tried my latest tutorial? ua-cam.com/video/Fqk4QWLavx8/v-deo.html
@@BRUTALSAMM - I managed to get the exploit installed successfully once, but my PS4 abruptly crashed when it said it was done. Apparently other users are having this issue as well, along with "scanning for corrupted object failed, please retry" messages during subsequent attempts.
General consensus seems to be to keep retrying. Would that be correct?

@@Luis4x1 - i tried about seven or eight times after my initial attempt, with no luck.
EDIT: Realized the futility of the question I had originally asked, after remembering that logging into PSN requires an update. Suffice to say, I'm not sure I wanna go back online so soon if this jailbreak progresses to a stabler state.

Great video with questions and answers, but how you are inserting the Fpkg yourself ? i am shocked, are you using a lower firmware ?
Logically, this means that ps4 11.02 can also be jailbroken, as you just need to go back to the previous version with ps4 wee tools.

its just very complicated
mine is sitting on update 10.50 but months ago before this all came out i broke 2 pins on the syscon chip and had to sand into the chip to expose the connections again and run tiny enamel wires to fix it. It is not an easy thing to do!

Modded warfare has a tutorial but you will have to wait for the other payloads to be ported to 11.0 atm it only has the message saying pppwned on the ps4 to show that the exploit worked and you need Linux currently no Windows version and a ethernet cable between pc and ps4 but there's a way to make it work via a Linux virtual machine

You can expect this JB to undergo a lot of development and changes over the next few months. There are a lot of ways this can go before settling on one you want to keep active all the time.

i dont want to be mean or anything but are you stupid. this isnt the final jailbreak this is a just a proof that there is a jailbreak. developers are working on it so the full jailbreak should come out in less than a month
