Some dogs are more quiet they all have their own personalities and they also pick it up from their owners personalities like if their a generally quiet not really a shut in kinda quiet in this case theyre both really just chill. My dogs were like us when me and my brothers were kids, wild energetic and happy being mischievious lol. Both labs. The husky Cheyanne we had was born when i was and was always with me she was a turd like me lol the dogs my aunt had all took after her chill personality lolpretty cool

You can't make a carnivore by nature turn into a vegetarian and it wouldn't be healthy for the dog. Dogs can't get all the nutrients the need by vegetables, they need all the protein and fats in the meat to stay strong and maintain weight. That woman was such an idiot. I laughed so hard when her dog went for the meat and not the veggies. I'd report her to PETA for animal abuse XD lmao And I was literally gonna make a comment about that until I read yours lol

I found you guys on my home page and boy am I glad I did! I’ve been interested in switching my dog over to a raw diet, but wasn’t quite sure how until I saw this video and found out about We Feed Raw. I’m only a 16 year old with semi strict parents, so it’d be hard to convince them to do all this stuff, but with a delivery service and that I’m going to start applying for jobs soon, so that I can pay for both his and my food. (I have enough but have been struggling with eating to focus on school which is why I’ve decided to drop out for the year. I haven’t told my parents yet so wish me luck. But that way I have the variety of food I need and can get it myself if we’re out.

You could try putting something into his bowl that he has to eat around. Like a toy or something. I used a Kong toy because it was easy to clean.
There are also slow eat bowls designed specifically for fast eaters.

Edit: im going to copy a response I made in the replies to my comment so its easier for people to see:
There is alot to research and I don't want to sound biased about raw. Drax had skin problems the first 2 years of life, constant rashes on paws and skin and ears with low energy. All different food and tablets tried, 1 week on raw everything cleared and he had puppy energy ever since. We go off our dogs weight and go the 10% raw bone 10% raw offal 80% raw meat.
Never give your dog cooked bones as that can kill them as all the moisture is removed and makes them sharp and tough. Raw bones your dog will chew through or swallow and dissolve.
You can buy the raw food proportioned at pet food stores, but it will be mental expensive, instead go to raw food wholesalers just like Gohan does here, and buy a chest freezer, it will be a quarter of the price but you'll have to buy in bulk. The freezer would have paid for itself in 1 or 2 orders compared to buying it at a pot food store.
Feel free to mix it up like gohan does here, as long as they are getting the right amount of meat for thier weight. Your dog will drop weight, don't overfeed them to compensate. Drax went from 11.5 stone to 11 stone, but became very lean and never got skinny, because more energy means he just burns more calories.
It can be difficult getting information because vets will warn you away from it but then try to push dry food they sell. None of them worked for Drax. Im not a conspiracy theorist, maybe it was just our vets. The oldest dog in the world currently eats raw chicken carcasses every day. If you buy from a dog food company the meat will be screened for any bacteria or salmonella etc so it won't have anything bad, unlike getting raw food from a supermarket which will have bacteria unless cooked. After a few days your dog will poo less and smaller amounts, Drax never farts now, and they will drink alot less. Drax used to drink SO much water and fart all day, but now he's off dry he drinks small amounts and never farts at all.
Final thing, if you haven't fed your adult dog raw, they may love it so much that they might become possessive and aggressive. Now I have only dealt with protection breeds, so I don't know if its a breed thing or a dog thing... but when you start make sure no kids are around just in case they walk past and your usually calm husky flips out and snaps at them. If this happens start feeding them by hand for a few weeks until they realise you are not going to take it from them. It shouldn't happen, not all of mine have done it, but some have. Its just another variable, dogs don't usually care about their dry food but they sure as hell will if its raw meat! Make sure they have thier own space away from everyone to eat, but make sure your around them so they don't become food aggressive. Dont feed dogs close to each other either.

would you recommend raw food for an australian shepherd and a mini aussie? the mini has a sensitive tummy, but we've never tried giving her meat
@@savannah9134 I would just start them on raw for a few meals over a few days, you can buy some of the more expensive prepacked pet store ones that are pre portioned and just see how they go instead of doing a bulk order, they won't have any whole bones or anything in, the bones will be ground into the food. Make sure they get raw-only for the few days as mixing is what can give them a funny tummy if you keep going back and forth.
You MIGHT find that your dog with the upset tummy clears up, Drax used to have real toxic smelling poos that were always runny, but once he went to raw his poos switched quickly to be normal, small, and don't smell strongly. It sounds backwards as we know meat can be super bacteria ridden and dangerous, but dogs are designed to eat meat even down to how thier teeth and saliva works.
My only thought its that the overfarming and chemicals being used in commercial food manufacturing that are causing huge rises in gluten allergies, are causing the same in dogs. Drax was definitely allergic to whatever is in all the dog foods, whether its starch, carbs, or some kind of chemical in all of them. For 2 years the in between of all his toes and his ears used to be pink and raw and he would constantly rub himself and we would feel so helpless, but 1 week of raw it all cleared up instantly and hasn't come back.
I'm open to being wrong, it could be major coincidence that Drax just grew out of it at the exact time we switched, but his coat within 2 weeks felt totally different its like silk now. Dogs have been around forever, and dog food companies have only been around 100 years or so. Carcasses and meat aswell as scraps etc is what they would have eaten.
Try a few days and just see how they go, if its proper dog food company raw food, it won't have any bacteria or salmonella so your dogs will love you for it when they try it, if they have a funny tummy after 2-3 days just switch back 😁

Husky owner here! While huskies are definitely known for being more talkative than other breeds, they take on after their owners just like other dogs as well. They can generally be super talkative if they live in a rowdy household that is super energetic and chaotic environment. Or they can just be more laidback and quieter in a chill and calm environment. Dogs have personalities much like humans, so it's not as uncommon as many think. Although, my husky is quieter and laidback - he does have Gohan's temperament and personality really.The only times I ever hear him bark/whine is when someone is coming into the apartment or when I'm showering and he stands watch at the door and hears someone in the living room/kitchen. Other times he whines when he needs to go out or the friend he's playing with won't engage with him. My boyfriend's husky on the other hand is more talkative - much like my boyfriend is as they're more rowdy while my husky and I just chill out.
