Variable size partitioning performs best in Worst fit and worst in Best fit..

Bestfit is best for this example because all three allocation allows the allocations but best fit keeps two memory of size 25 K. So processes upto 25 k can be allocated in best case.

this question is based on variable partition scheme,in this not internal fragmentation will be there. but in 2007 question it is fixed partion scheme where we get internal fragmentation.

This particular question is a GATE1994 question. In it they mention that the memory being talked about is the heap portion (this is not given in video). You can reasonably assume from that info that we can use variable partition scheme here, because heap is dynamic memory.

sir u cannot add 125 here in third term as you said in your before videos in contigeous we cannot add another process in remaining memory if already we add our one of the process in memory ..so 25k you already added there you cannot add 125k now there.

best fit mein, itna kam leftover space bach jaata hai ki u can not fit any other process in it. we got 2 holes remaining of 25k each. and p4 size is 50K,so contingous allocation mein either whole process of 50k will go inside the hole or nothing. Because we cannot divide the p4 into parts and den fit it inside those remaining holes. That's what sir meant
