Born in Bwaise in the 80s, on long row mizigo... my family moved to Rubaga and finally settled in Kabojja... Went to 8 different schools from nursery to my S.6. Lots of hardship with fees. Born to a struggling poor family... my mother has been a rock doing all sorts of jobs to see us through....I did several jobs as a young man to fend for my needs... Those were the days... Now I run an all new struggle and hussle in Canada's biggest city.... My journey through life did set a stage for what I have become today.... Ebiseera ebyo sisobola kubyerabira....

I first heard this song when I was 20 year old kid in LUZIRA prison in 2009. I Went in at 17. Got my GED, did a computing course and got trusty status. Me and 7 other inmates worked at Mutaasa Kafeero after completing the computing course. I fought tears hearing this song on the bus ride at 5am on the way to work and this song still makes me tear up today😪😪

This song gives me mixed feelings and brings back the memories. As I listen to it I reminisce about those days I used to have those short big pants with oluwuzi, days I used to be with Ebintimba on my legs. I grew up in tough situation, poor environment but Alhamdulillah solid family. I remember those days nga we roast maize while cooking, playing round game, kakebe and the likes, we could go to kumudumo to fetch water and after go to the swamp to catch obuyamba yiiii banange! Whenever I remember where I came from I become humble and say Alhamdulillah.
