I don't know if The Wedding Singer was even Sandler's best 'comedy', but he's had some great, more serious and understated roles: Punch-Drunk Love 2002 Spanglish 2004 Uncut Gems 2019 Hustle 2022 Jus sayin' ✌
It could still sound really good if the source and mastering is good - those are really far and away the most important factors when choosing between pressings and always will be.
@PacificTimeSoulthat’s cuz he creates his own opinions instead of going along with the general consensus people on the internet like to spew. It truly shows how little people in this hobby understand the music industry/process.
@thorniestorange totally agree, alot of people who know alot more than I do about records..like Mr. Hoffman have been saying for year RVG stuff is overrated
Your definitely right about 3000 being low for Greenday. I think I was in middle school when this came out and it was huge. Almost as big as Nevermind, well kind of . Regardless it will sell out fast and I’d maybe want to snag a copy. I have yet to get it on vinyl, still have the original CD from whatever year it came out 92 or 93? I’m pretty sure the Verve actually got their money back after Allan Klein died.
It's my understanding that Elemental Music made a deal with Universal to reissue 29 Motown titles that began in May 2024 and will end in February 2025 (I believe the label had peviously reissued some albums prior to this agreement which Universal was pleased with). (I have all the Supremes❤ reissues, so far.😊)
The Verve were 1 of the most important bands of that 90's Britpop era. They only had 1 major album here (the excellent Urban Hymns), but sold well around the rest of the world.
Hello, Mike! I am really curious about your thoughts about recent comments by Kevin Grey on his thoughts on One-Steps, made on the Carapop podcast. Any thoughts?
LMFAO!! A Half Speed Master of Motorheads first three albums , really, we need a Audiophile pressing of Motorhead ?? Now there's money well spent ....😅lol.
Just because Fogelberg is before your time and is in your dollar bin doesn’t diminish his talent similar to Jackson Brown there are guys today who would give their left testicle and right arm to right one song half as well as the songs those guys wrote and performed. lol
@ Although everyone’s taste differ It just seemed like you were dismissing him because his albums were in the dollar bin was all; nothing personal look forward to your posts EVERY week
I just don't understand why you continue to trash the 60's Motown sound as "crummy". I grew up in that era and cherish every moment because it's all we had. Now if your boy Kevin Gray wants to remaster the Motown sound that would be great but otherwise stop trashing my culture.
The Steven Wilson Yes remixes are awesome. I actually prefer them to the AP45 because you get better instrument separation and clarity.
Many thanks Mike and all at The In Groove ✌️🤘🤘

I preorded Dookie as soon as it went on sale.. This was an important album to me as a kid. It'll be my first 1-step. 🤘
Oh my word 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️.
It’s F.K.A. Twigs. Ef-Kay-eh Twigs.
This is like her 5th album dude. How do you not know this?!
He says why later on in the vid. He is not a "hiphopper"
The one step hype has been totally dismantled this week by Kevin and Steve Hoffman
It could still sound really good if the source and mastering is good - those are really far and away the most important factors when choosing between pressings and always will be.
I have the Kevin Gray cut on this - I'm good with Dookie. It's not a sonic marvel to where I need 20 copies or listen at 45rpm.
Steve Hoffman talks a lot of trash. I remember him trashing Rudy Van Gelder a few years ago.

You already own a mini organ!!
Herb Alperts albums are amazing music to behold
Dan Fogelberg's album "Phoenix," is a gem
I could be wrong, but I believe that Motown is owned by UMG and Elemental is licensing from them.
Great album "Moanin' ". Didn't know it was on your 100, but I own it on Blue Note.
Speaking of Dan Fogelberg in the dollar bins, for me it’s always Pablo Cruise that I find in the dollar bins.
I think the Charlie Brown Halloween special was as well known as Christmas. The Great Pumpkin

The FKA in FKA Twigs stands for "Formerly Known as" Twigs
🤦♂️

Mucked up a couple of Christmas gifts for some buddy’s 😐

No Riverside „Live Id”?
Please make a Dookie comparison video!
Great Pumpkin charlie brown may be the best one. The election and thanksgiving one always on, too.
So grateful for all the videos Mike! 🙏🏼
Still waiting for those Joni Mitchell Court and Spark one steps? They claim they started shipping on December 12tg
I’m hoping to have it this week.

Urban Hymns is an absolutely fantastic album I nearly forgot how good it was.
What are your thoughts on the channel AP Mastering saying and explaining why analog is digital?
Those one steps are digital dude.
I’m here for the mispronunciations haha ;)

Dookie one-step is still available on Green Day's website
Sample - Not a cover.

What going on with the One Steps are they a con
I make my own music. Its on streaming. “Villain” by Konstantin Polyakov. Its worth the listen if you’re looking for new rock music!

Can't wait for the Fuhker Twins album.

@aaronpomietlasz6377 well,"buddy" first off your face hurt me when i looked at it (:
And second mind your buisness pal!!
@ dang bruh
Agreed. Lousy band. Can’t stand em.
My wife told me that when she was in kindergarten and reciting her "A B C's", she would say "L M N O P" as elemental P.
Fragile is pronounced Frah-Geee-Leee
