I love how agile they portrayed rajasaurus here!
Some thought they are velociraptors lol
@@scc13007 lol
@@scc13007 no I am still learning about dinosaurs
Too agile I’d say, they don’t move like 1 ton animals.
I agree, it's nice to see abelisaurs being fast like they actually were.
The cooler Majungasaurus
I really like the color design of it. Kinda fits the entire volcano aesthetic. And the fact that it springs out and sprints around these sharp stony environment without a problem is kinda epic.
Majungasaurus is definitely not cooler 💀
@@arpitaghosal767 I know, I was referencing the "Daniel the cooler Daniel" meme. Rajasaurus is superior
That creepy birdlike noise at 1:37 is exactly what I want to hear! Even animals like Triceratops are more closely related to birds then they are to other reptiles, so I love it when dinosaur media really emphasizes their nature as "stem-birds".
About time this guy got its debut.
I do want to see an abelisaurid hunting decent-sized prey in a documentary (that isn’t horribly executed) given the cursorial specializations of the carnotaurines and the “heavily built jaw-based grappler” model of the majungasaurines at some point. But given the quality of the predation scenes in the past episode, can’t complain too much.
Dinosaur Revolution briefly showed a Majungasaurus hunting a Rapetosaurus, though it wasn’t the focal point of the segment
Also I don’t know how well executed it is, but Planet Dinosaur had a Majungasaurus brutally killing and eating another of its kind
Same
@@yan7314
Still worth showing IMO.
I love how birdlike they made rajasaurus in its aggressive predatory nature. I feel like this is the closest we've ever been to witnessing dinosaur behavior.
Yet Prehistoric Planet barely shows the big predators hunting prey their own size, I feel we get too many baby runs for it to feel special anymore
The thing is, Abelisaurs, just like their ancestral relatives Ceratosaurs were less related to birds than Coelurosaurs, in which Raptors and Tyrannosaurs belonged to
@StevieSeagalGiganotosaurus did not live with Argentinosaurus, however, Mapusaurus did.
@@cosmobane6995abelisaurs are ceratosaurs
Imagine you’re just hiking around the rocky canopy, minding your business. You turned to a corner…and then you saw this!

Ok so the ark player in me wants to tame it
THE smart part of me wants to run.
@@piglin469 Yeah might need to run
Brown pants time
I honestly would want to run but I feel like backing up slower and asserting yourself Is better cause if you run it'll probably chase after you and bite you but then again if asserting yourself isn’t better either idk what I would do probably just cry
Jurassic World: Dominion moment.
Ohh Man, I'm so, so happy that Rajasaurus makes it first proper appreance in a dinosaur documentary. And it's not a reused T Rex or Allosaurus model. It's a new design and it looks spectacular. Especially his reddish colour scheme for his body made it look like it can survived in harsh environments.
The spicy hot killer sausage 🥵
Majunga more sausage
Carnivorous Chorizo.
You mean Spicy hot Seekh kebab.
@@tusharroymukherjee3370 King Spicy sausage lizard
You know because Raja is the king of India.
Majungasaurus: horny spicy hot killer sausage!
My favorite dinosaur of the 2nd season. They looked sooo realistic.
best looking dinosaur of the season imo, especially in this terrain
I love the unique all black design of Rajasaurus 3rd eyelid at 0:32. Makes them look shark like.
I wonder if there some special adaptation that protects their eyes.
Like from the sunlight or heat.
@@DamontheDemon7 they seem well adapted to difficult environments considering where this takes place
@@DamontheDemon7 probably is. some animals today have similar adaptations.
I love how great they look! :)
0:02 “A Rajasaur” I love how Attenborough says it
There is alot of abelisaurid i've seen so far
Good, they deserve more recognition on popular media
We've 3 abelisaurids now
Proud of the boys came a long way
@@scc13007no the strongest is the carnotaurus because its bigger and bigger=stronger also its fast
@@scc13007 Carnotaurus have more bite force than rajasaurus
Did people forget about Pychonemosaurus? Also that doesnt include other non oficially described abelisaurids like that one specimen from Brazil (on Ramdomdinos Brazilian dinos size chart) and Titanovenator (you can find a more reliable estimative of this one in a video done by Mikailus regarding megatheropods size).
@@scc13007 Also a more recenty study from 2022 estimates carno bitte force at the anterior part of the jaws at 3392 Newtons and the posterior part of the jaws at 7172 Newtons.
It looks like well cooked tandoori chicken 🐔🍗😂😂
To think parts of the basalt where isisaurs laid their eggs from Deccan traps would turn in the future onto the kailasa temple
You have NO IDEA how much this help me Ive been wondering how large therapods would walk on uneven rocky terrain
Despite being larger than the biggest living carnivorous predators in India, these theropods are still very fast & agile.
@sirfarhantheone1 indosuchus, indosaurus, Raholisaurus, Megalosaurus and other abelisaurids and carnosaurs of India left the chat
@sirfarhantheone1 k
@sirfarhantheone1 I'm pretty sure there's a lot more Dino predators in India. We've just never found them. Realistically I'm pretty sure there are a lot more species buried in the earth that we don't know about
These predators would be an absolute nightmare to stray dogs, tigers and sloth bears today. The asteroid & volcano were a blessing for ancestral mammals.
@@noname-fj1pwMy guy, Rajasaurus is far bigger then any living crocodile.
Rajasaurus would be the largest land predator if it was alive today
Without that asteroid and dinosaurs going extinct humans and alomsot all modern mammals would never exist.
Prehistoric Planet litterly is an example of what dinosaurs would've done in the wild.
If this is in jurassic park/world, it would be shrinkwrapped, constantly roaring for no reason and killing eachother for no reason.

Were you trying to write literally but had a stroke?
@@eviljoel We're you just correcting someone just to waste you're own time, Like seriously No one cares, Keep on typing what other meaningless comment do you wanna send now?
Hum.. reminds me of my chickens when theres a bug feast. They chase one another trying to steal food
I like the coloring
I swear to god I thought Rajasaurus lived in a desert.
One of the largest volcanic features on earth started in Late Cretaceous India so it makes sense that the landscape is volcanic
@@pokemonparty101 Yeah, but I thought it was in the Deccan Plateau. Basically the region now represented by the Deccan Traps.
I love how they made it move like some giant unholy bird lizard with the way it balances itself with it's thicc tail.
Did you know that Raja is equivalent to King.
If tyrannosaurus rex is the tyrant king of Laurasia then Rajasaurus is the raja of Gondwana.
Gondwana was already gone by this point. Rajasaurus lived in what is now India.
@@kade-qt1zu Laurasia too you know. But you still right.
I correct myself.
T-rex = North American Lizard King
Rajasaur= Raja lizard from India.
@@Charlie-1022 Cool.
By this point in time India was an island continent like Australia is today
There was a far bigger as of yet undescribed Abeliaurid about the size of Tarbosaurus in Kenya at the same time, unofficially named Titanovenator.
The cooler Majungasaurus.
JK, I love them both.
Such an amazing design. That’s all.
Oh my gosh imagine that IRL so scary!! But so cool to see! You cant escape that 😫
Finally rajasaurus in prehistoric planet
Rajasaurus : The Pride of India 💕 🇮🇳💪😎
It seems Isisaurus and Rajasaurus finally show up since they seen and Feature the Arcade game Dinosaur king
It's amazing CGi, but IMHO there is too little feet interaction with ground. It looks weird when dino runs and no rocks and particles aren't ruffled.
They look photorealistic, but the movements still kinda throw me off sometimes.
Good
Thousand times better than the fossil fighters rajasaurus
I visited the Dino museum in Gujarat and come to know that we have our our Dino called Rajasauras. Now watching them in better animation makes it amazing.
You forgot isisaurus (I know it's also founded in Pakistan but most specimens are from India) and other
M O R E S A U S A G E!!!!
Is rajasaurus faster than carnotaurus
Were there any large carnivores bigger than Rajasaurus that were from India?
Rahiolisaurus which is 900 kg heavier than rajasaurus
@@scc13007 yep the heavier the animal the bigger the animal
@@UnofficialJurassicWorldYT Rahiolisaurus*
@@GuywithaTrexskullonhishead Thanks for correction 😅
It's scary how the largest theropods in India are smaller than a carnotosaurs meanwhile the largest dinosaur (Bruhuatkyakasaurs 130-150 fcking tons) also lived in India
I think they used marine iguanas as the reference for colors here
Rajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Feeling proud as an indian
Finally indian dinosaurus get to shine on the big screen
El chorizo
bruhathkayosaurus vdo plzzz
Whats the name of the baby sauropod raja hunt here?
Isisaurus.

badlands, more like badass
I gusse you could call it a “child predator”
A punjab dinosaur
Narmada river is nowhere near Punjab
I forgot that Raja is similar to carno lol
how they just running on rocks and not hurting their feet?
Just like how snow leopards are not bothered... Like T-Rex, they have padded feet...
Finally, the tech scamming ceratosaur is back on big screen after many cringe appearances in Indian cinema
t-rex
Spawn campers
This is your most watched video (thanks to Indians)
Dinosaur from india
Indian carno😂
Actually Indian majunga
Nope, they weren't too different in size .
So made up guys u are al being played
?
Creationists are dumb.
@kahanuermeyas-tulu4056 Whether or not you believe dinosaurs existed, if you’re a creationist, you’re still very, very dumb.
Tf it's documentary kiddo
No, this is all wrong, according to the science EVERY dino had feathers. Brachiosaurus had wings.
You are joking right
I can imagine these theropods raiding Indian villages for food and the villagers mistaking them for demons.
(if your wondering why India, this species of abelisauridae hails all the way from India)
