I'm a relief printmaker but just recently bought an old copper printing press and want to get into etching and mezzotinto (if I could get the tools...) and feel so motivated now seeing your amazing work! Really interesting to see this process. At 4.14, you say that you will lose your line during proofing; what do you mean? Why is the line lost?
I think he means the transferred line work from the carbon paper. It's transferred to the paper along with the ink in the printing process
