Team India received a whopping Rs 125 crore prize money from the BCCI for winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title.
According to the reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded $2.45 million (Rs 20.42 crore) to the champion Indian team.
In addition, the BCCI announced a separate prize money of Rs 125 crore for the Indian team's triumph. BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated: "I am pleased to announce prize money of INR 125 Crores for Team India for winning the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024."
So in total, the Indian team received around Rs 145 crore in prize money - Rs 20.42 crore from the ICC and an additional Rs 125 crore from the BCCI for their T20 World Cup 2024 victory.

BCCI may like to do whatever they like for ímprovement of Indian sports but be prudent about appoint any unruly cricket coach.

This is what has killed other sports in India. Now with this kind of money, every parent wants to make their kid a cricketer ignoring the kid's interests. My own friend has joined his son in cricket academy and says once he plays for IPL is enough, national team is also not needed.
Other sports ko government fund deti hai but bcci apna money khud banaata hai. Toh wo apne player pe hi kharch karegi.
