    Congrats to the couple never have friends from The Philippines nor went to Elementary & Middle School with them . I met alot of Filipinos the truth is I get Filipinos mixed up with the Chinese, Latinos, & Pacific Islanders. I respect the Filipinos❤

    The use of veil and cord is actually part of catholic wedding ceremony. I'm glad you incorporated that in your own weddings that's very symbolic of unity and oneness.

    One can wear a long-sleeved, plain white, gray, or black shirt or sweater under a barong if the weather is cold, but it must be prepared as a matching set to make sure it looks good with the barong. Your husbands can still wear their embroidered barongs at other people's weddings or formal gatherings!

    It must have been tough trying to pack the barongs. The fabric wrinkles very easily and hard to steam out. Your father has a beautiful singing voice.

    The veil should be over the head of the woman to symbolize her submission to the husband. One other thing that you may have added is the handing of the "aras" or gold coins from husband to wife and vice-versa to symbolize material provisions.
