This is the first growling tutorial that made sense to me, and I could finally see some progress after trying your exercises! Thank you so much for this wonderful video!
Advice get a good paying job first. Singing can never be a career meaning it won’t pulling in income It is not a career meaning making money But do it as passion Change making it it’s like winning a lottery in Vegas
@@MihannahRocki would recommend taking: advice from someone who has done what it is that you want to do. I, and lots of my friends, have made a career of singing, as have lots of my singers. If you believe you can’t then you won’t.
Both growling and the video about rock singin with distorsion have been very helpful. I'm singing jazz standards and want to put some grit and dirt to it. Especially on the higher notes. How do i train this and where do I put it. For ex, Aint missbehavin. Can you make a video on that?
I’m a beginner with singing, and I’ve always wanted to learn how to vocal growl. I felt like I was doing the right thing, but didn’t know how to growl in general. I just found this video, I can already feel that I’m making progress! However I do tend to worry a lot so, I’d like to ask, is vocal growling achievable for everyone? Or do people have to be born with the ability?
@@Vickyholic-official Generally, vocal growl is something that can be learned if you have the right training and practice enough. If you’re a beginner I wouldn’t recommend growling yet as it can become a “cheat” to lean on in place of correct clean technique. I always recommend learning the basics before embellishments like vibrato, growl and other types of distortion.
@emma76490 Distortion (growling is a type if distortion) is very drying but if you’re doing it right it shouldn’t feel uncomfortable apart from a little dryness.

Where are you placing your tongue please? Thankyou
Whenever i try any growl technique my throat just resorts to gurgling my saliva 😅
Trying this, my I didn't feel scratchy, but more tingly and dry in the back of my mouth - is that okay?
