I get your stand on negotiations but real estate is a different game you can’t treat business as war, I totally understand your stand as a vendor, at this point it would be better for you guys to take the 50k and your damages, terminate rhe offer to purchase, re-list the property on offer date, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take the 50k refinance the property rent it out, and buy something for 20% down, You also bought the property when it was a sellers market, the prices have settled drastically, you bought the property being in an investors position, the property still stands exactly in the same position it’s a tough sell but best of luck to you both!! May god ease this
