Here's a much shorter recap for all you critics out there. A gang of childish no goods started a gang on the idea of risking it all for each other & everyone else but abandoned this poor boy & his wannabe gang of softies and no one knows why. They ruined his future and made him run away like the coward he used to be but the greater mystery behind it all as to why was he chosen to travel across time and save the one person who he abandoned in a somewhat ironic way will be revealed by the end. All in all, Toman wasn't a very good thing to begin with & if Takemichi ever asked Mikey as to why they didn't stop that fight club from happeneing, in the end he only cared about & wanted to save his ex-girl Hinata so they're all delinquints.
Was really disappointed in the decline of animation quality in the second season (and from what I’ve seen in the 3rd season’s trailer also)

My summary for you guys:
“I can go back in time, but never fully ask people in the present what happened in order to have a plan.”
Proceeds to go back in time, see things happening in real time, right in front of him, but instead of trying to act AS THINGS UNFOLD to change the visible outcome, freezes in place pondering why "didn't" he do anything, as if he can't anymore.
Manages to cry (like, constantly) into sorta better situations, until things in the present SEEM to be right, but, uh-oh! He’s about to be killed!
Season ends in a cliff hanger.
Also: "MIKEEEEEYY!!!! MIKEEEEEYY!!!! MIKEEEEEEEEYYYY!!!" Being whined profusely and loudly.
Edit: I started watching series two as a "while I wait for other stuff" and, wow.
Episode 4 - this is the reminder that MC is as smart as a kettle. I'ad forgotten how stupid he was, legitimately.

Fuck me. Episode 4. I knew he was REALLY stupid, I just had forgotten why and how.
And I'm not even counting "yup! I should go back to the present even though I haven't changed shit in the past! That's smartss" and only doesn't do it because a character he calls stupid convinces him that the awful idea is indeed awful.
Season 2 was a hot mess I dropped it… in the manga it was amazing but the anime adaptation for the season was garbage

With that said: really, anime? An entire series of build up and 2 guys beat one hundred punks without breaking a sweat. And that's it.
WOW. It really made my jaw drop.
Then the fact that in the present now Hinata STILL DIES THE EXACT SAME WAY in THE EXACT SAME timeframe is so lazy. How??? If he never broke up for long with Hinata, she could never end up in that EXACT same situation and they were actually probably dating still AND YET - no actual change to Takemichi's life -.-'
Also: because of some nebulous "darkness" Mikey is now a...serial killer of all his closest friends...?
Next change in time, without Takemichi becoming the leader, everything is gonna be the same BUT ALSO Mikey is now a half cyborg and the machines are about to go Skynet on Japan...for some reason.
The reason Takemichi hasn't even thought about ending the whole thing, given it is LITERALLY a PARAMILITARY group that could only either become a crime sindicate or coup the government is mental to me.
And these 2 options I'm saying putting aside the fact that we can see the future.
Anyhow: if you read all of this, all the best! I had to vent ever since I was BAFFLED how hyped this story was and how many people adored series 1. It's (in my opinion) just so, so, so bad.

i haven't watched it yet , would you recommend this anime? im on High Card right now and Campfire Cooking ...f***k i just simply always go to eat after this anime. and this weekend completely re-watched Trigun.. new season shit
