- Tonight, I shared a fun way to step up your embossing folders with the Double Embossing technique! Use two embossing folders together to add extra texture that looks amazing when inked up with an ink pad or ink cube!

Loved the card and the technique!
Beautiful technique! You might clear up some of the confusion about the sides of embossing folders by referring to them as embossed and debossed sides. Embossed being the pattern side raised or bump up, and debossed being the background raised side or flat side.

I Iove the double embossed technique I’ve tried doing both adding ink to the folder and lightly adding ink over it after but it always seams to get on the bk ground as well as the raised areas
You could have inked the scolloped "loops" abit with a little darker shade on the blue on blue,to get anit of contrast.
I think I will make a card like this to some of the teachers when the kids end school soon.
There is not a single surface in my house, with the possible exception of the ceilings, that is big enough for an 85” screen. Anything that big has a bookcase on it. 😀

Is there a reason why. when you trim your cardstock, you trim from all sides and not just one side? If the cardstock doesn't have a specific pattern, so to speak, does it make a difference? Thanks! Love this technique.

I use a solution of Photo-Flow and water before I put my cardstock into the embossing folders
