Hey all, Danny here (Lead Writer on Jedi: Survivor). Fun fact, I wrote this song! Didn't know how people would react to this, really amazing to see! I wrote this during our last month of recording, thought Kata needed it.
Hey Danny, I really appreciate you commenting! I love the lyrics to this song, it was very emotional listening to Bode and Kata singing together. Jedi: Survivor is such a great game and Cal has become one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time. Can’t wait to see how you guys continue his story.
@DannyHoman It's an honor to see you talk about on your own masterpiece, it's excellent that you did make it at the end! Thank you for that, it truly gives a final special touch to the game's theme. 😊👌
I literally stopped moving so I could listen to Kata sing this song before I fought Bode. That’s how beautiful your song was. You should write more, I seriously mean it.
I cant be the only one who heard this song after everything and just felt sad af. I really liked Bode and was hoping they could come to an understanding
Bode was an awesome character, it would have been great if he surrendered but I do love this sad ending. Then after listening to this song I needed to make this edit.
This might be the catalyst to Cal's fall to the darkside, even if only temporarily. He's already embraced the darkness to some degree. Had Bode surrendered, Cal could have confronted his hate, but now he can just hate Bode more for abandoning his daughter on top of everything else. I'd like to see how Bode's death affects the next game.
@@zakarymcleod1850 Cal also gave into the darkside when he executed Bode after the 1st blaster shot. He may come to regret that over time as well. Bode was basically out of the fight at that point, then he looks at Merrin and thinks about how he hurt her then just puts him down, you can see him shaken for a second afterwards like "what did I just do" in his head
Had this song stuck in my head for the last week, ever since finishing the game. It perfectly captures the feeling I had after this masterpiece of a game
Bode knew siding with Cal could mean Kata won't be safe He did try to give Cal many chances to change his mind when you listen to the post game force echoes Bode leaves behind though he does use alot of manipulation he shows moments where he genuinely cares for Cal In the end, he was a broken man willing to stop at nothing for his daughters safety and in that path he nearly killed his daughter during the fight with Cal and Merrin
i had "it has to be this way" from metal gear rising, the end song that plays while you fight armstrong, for the fight with Bode, it fit the situation perfectly Standing here, i realise You are just like me Trying to make history But whos to judge The right from wrong When our guard is down I think we'll both agree That violence breeds violence But in the end it has to be this way Ive carved my own path You followed your wrath But maybe we're both the same The world has turned And so many have burned But nobody is to blame Yet staring across this barren wasted land I feel new life will be born Beneath the blood stained sand
I can’t wait to see how they end Cal’s story. Maybe the third game is 5+ years later and Cal dies at the end, then you’ll play as Kata after beating the game. Similar to what they did in Red Dead Redemption. But I hope we get to see Cal in shows and movies eventually.
@@GalacticRadio I don't care how they end it as long as it's good, but I would prefer it ends with a good reason for Cal not being present in any other media. If that's his death, then so be it, but I can do without another character to be used for unnecessary fan-service
@@daddyjesuschristI'd like to think maybe he finally stops fighting and lives peacefully, it's often talked about throughout survivor and he considers it a lot, of all characters I want him to have a happy ending, he has already suffered so much loss and pain, he deserves better
Mine has the same facial hair but I also got middle parted hairstyle, it looks sick in my opinion, I also pair it with the bomber jacket, wanderer unershirt both in their original colors and starting pants in the color black
Hey all, my version of Ghost Star is now live! Thanks so much for all the kind comments. Enjoy - ua-cam.com/video/k-e2MdsAL1E/v-deo.html

@@dancingcarapace Thank you, I will -- I have a so so voice/am an average performer, so I've always been hesitant to record my music in the past :)

It hurts even more going back through all the maps and seeing the force echoes he left along the way

This song is amazing and it fits so perfectly at the end of the game
I just finished game. Late I know 🤦🏾♂️ but the song was somber cherry on top to end a great game
The va for kata put more emotion into the song than i had expected for a song heard at the end
Her performance for this song was amazing. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Hearing this in game made me emotionally devastated
Same, every time I listen to this song it is so heartbreaking
The twist near the end broke my heart into a million pieces. Wish bode could have changed….
I would love to have seen Cal and Bode building the new Jedi temple and training younglings. He could have been training Kata.
Bode knew siding with Cal could mean Kata won't be safe

This game deserves awards with an S. The story, the acting, the drama. Its so mature yet innocent like the imagination of a child. 🙏

Standing here, i realise
You are just like me
Trying to make history
But whos to judge
The right from wrong
When our guard is down
I think we'll both agree
That violence breeds violence
But in the end it has to be this way
Ive carved my own path
You followed your wrath
But maybe we're both the same
The world has turned
And so many have burned
But nobody is to blame
Yet staring across this barren wasted land
I feel new life will be born
Beneath the blood stained sand
Wow those lyrics works perfectly for this fight!
I really want a bittersweet ending for the eventual sequel. Hopefully with some finality to it

you got cal looking like tony stark at the end there💀

😂 Cal is going to start up Kestis Industries on Tanalorr
Bruh your crying
I was crying while making it 😢
I'm not crying you are 😢😢
I'm not crying, there was something in my Eye
There nothing wrong with being emotions
Those two song are not good with each other. I know some people started saying its covering it self but no its ruining each other tones
