I am using elementor pro and hello elementor theme. The built-in CSS style (hello elementor theme) for link colors are not complementary to the web designs that I do, nor flexible.
A simple fix is to create a custom CSS link colors under Appearance>Customize>Custom CSS.. however, this becomes permanent site wide. All links, whether on light background or dark background, use same colors. So now I want a different CSS link style for the site footer widget but when I add custom CSS to footer widget, it is ignored due to the site-wide link colors CSS. If I want multiple link color CSS styles, what do I do? If you know elementor and theme customizer, please keep this in mind with your explanation. Thank you.

While targeting elements using CSS, you shouldn’t target general purpose elements.

You can open a popup with HTML/CSS but the logic for popups comes from JS so you can't with just CSS.
