Awesome race in the rain, Congratulations ! Something you might try (if you haven't already) is try rubbing some Car Wax onto your Helmet face shield and Camera lense and then lightly buffing them clean with a cotton cloth (like waxing a car) and then it will leave a clear coating that will make water bead up and run off the plastic which should make it easier for you to see through the face shield in the rain and water won't stick to the camera lense.
