I think this was better than the Monkey deck but like you said it’s way too soon to even know what’s optimal with Toxin. Regardless very solid deck and fun to pilot. Thanks for the awesome highlights Jeff!
I was having fun with your monkey bounce deck earlier and I look forward to trying this one. Thanks for the deck ideas. My time with the monkey deck went very well and if this one is easier, then I’ll have an even better time.
I do get what you’re saying about toxin and bouce being potentially meta feels better than cosmos but at the same time as an opponent it has that gut feeling that once I get to turn 6 if I’m not throwing priority I’m auto losing
As a relatively new player who is quite interested in the bounce archetype, do you think werewolf by night is explicitly better in agent venom bounce decks than hit monkey, or is it too hard to tell at this point? The only bounce related cards that I don’t have is Werewolf, Hit Monkey, Falcon, Nico, Spider Ham and Wiccan. While I’m aware of how crucial the first 3 cards are to playing a bounce deck, I’m asking this question to determine which way would be the better way to go considering the cards I already own.
Taking a break from this game and would rather just watch Jeff play. Just lost to a discard deck where the opponent's Drac hit the Apoc with 6 swarms in hand (opponent was locked out turn 6).
Hey Jeff, non-marvel snap comment here. I say this with 0 hate and only in search of putting my thoughts out there. For Marvel Rivals I will certainly agree that the Marvel IP is bringing a lot of attention to the game it wouldn't otherwise have without it. And I will say in Rivals' hiatus, I have been thoroughly enjoying Deadlock as well (playing a lot of Ivy, Viscous, Dynamo, and Mirage just for the record). But to Rivals' credit, the game certainly has a relatively unique art style (so does Deadlock and Frag Punk, don't get me wrong, but neither of them look like Rivals). The quality of cosmetics in Rivals is certainly appealing as none of them seem to be skimping off the top, some skins even having tied-in captions to which comic you can find them in (understand that goes in the Marvel IP pool). But in terms of mechanics, the team-up mechanic adds a new element to the game while also adding some fun flavor to the fight. Games like Concord didn't have any real unique mechanic, and I believe that is part of why it failed so catastrophically. And while not unique to Rivals, the destructable environments certainly add a spice to the game. And while this is certainly not an objective compliment on the games behalf, I find that the Time-To-Kill and Respawn ratio is impeccable. Let me explain. The game balances a delicate line where you get kills quickly and can wrack up double-digit stats in a game, which is fun and feels productive. At the same time, the respawn timers are never so absurdly long that you feel awful for having died to a huge burst of damage. Not to knock long respawn times, as Deadlock's scaling long respawn times serve it's MOBA elements. But to knock long TTK, Overwatch has absurdly long TTK's and short-ish respawns. You never feel too bad for having died, but you also don't get the thrill of getting lots of kills either unless the opponents are incompetent. That was a lot. And I don't put this comment in some "WHAT?! You just said you DON'T like Rivals?! Blasphemy!" fashion, just hoping to maybe persuade to the games merits (I'm not getting paid for this). P.S. I will note that the contract for Rivals requesting you don't discuss politics anywhere was completely absurd and almost dystopian in nature.
Absolutely hate crimson cosmos. If I could get rid of one location it would be that one. The amount of restriction it places on 90% of the decks played is ridiculous

7:45 Getting a card from Camp Lehigh (or Hub) that's already in your deck always feels like cheating to me :D

Ashton Kutcher reference = stretch reminder gets my like. 👍🏻

14:00 am I correct that anything played in Oscorp Tower on turn 3 wouldn't switch since it only swaps revealed cards?
The cards reveal on 3 then swap after the turn ends

Do oscorp tower and castle zemo swap unrevealed cards?
Wow, that Iron Man variant looks spectacular, where can I get it in a bundle?
It’s in the webshop. In an exclusive bundle, think it’s £3 or your equivalent
