It can be anyone. There's a stereotype that people who like Pierce The Veil have emo black hair, skinny jeans, are depressed and whiny and emo ("My soul is as black as my eyeliner, GOD! No one understands, you just don't get me MOM!") however that's not always the case. Like me, you can look like an average girl, that wears jeans, and hoodies or t-shirts or sweaters, with vans or boots.

when i was 13, eleven years ago, i got diagnosed with a really aggressive form of leukemia. i was never all that into emo/scene music but my girlfriend at the time was. she sent me this video as encouragement to keep fighting and i watched it all the time. we broke up-- inevitably considering we were both still kids at the time-- but as adults we still reach out to each other and have nice conversations about that time of our lives. this song always makes me think of that relationship, and your cover makes me think about how hard i fought; how i ultimately won the battle despite how difficult it was :) thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
