- With a single photo of a person, scammers can find their social media, find out their name, and sometimes even their address! However, this kind of investigation works the other way around, too. You also can check your online interlocutor and find out about his real personality. #cybersecurity #OSINT #hacking

This is legal?
@@buckeatingbread why wouldn't it be
I tested with my own pictures, and this technology has quite a long way to go because nothing was found... and Metadata2go would have been useful over 20 years ago, before people started to use imageshack, which already deleted the metadata back in the early 2000's.
@@KahruSuomiPerkele not if you receive the original photo.
@buckeatingbread depends on use of it , it's legal to do but doing ect is illegal
No, this is not a threat to you, common person, its not going to say your exact location for anyone who finds your profile and you can delete image metadata using "scramble exif" or "imagepipe", at least on android.
completly useless since most website that host images already delete the metadata.
@@KahruSuomiPerkele osint isn't just about meta data on pictures. Osint is a LOT more then just that.
Its about all the different kinds of public records (people search websites, business records, etc), people over sharing on all social media, blogs and/or websites and tons of other places where people can find and collect info on people all for free
Osint is my favorite infosec topic
doesn’t social media scrub metadata though? aside from text messages, idk where i’d get images w exif/metadata, but even then i imagine imessage scrubs it too
Sites like flickr tend to let you download the original file with metadata and everything
PimEyes is that bomb...been using it forever.
hmm pimeyes must pay
The music is very distracting.
He should be proud of me I found someone their full name there location and email and age
Rainbolt: This air looks Spanish ngl
I'm just going to use it on myself 🤷
TIME TO DOX OLD KLOWI(not the current klowi) AND BELLA THE WOLF
Special media remove metadata so its really hard for now
Pimeyes it f***ing WORK!!!!! yes it works!!!
is your voice is real ??
Neat
U
wait. that this is real ? for coordinating location? you do realise what power this gives you ? and if you Mach it with tinder. ....
Most social media scrub metadata before upload including tinder
even phones doesn't store gps location on photos now.
This is scary, so any photos on Facebook can tracked?
How do you stop this and then get rid of them or the information?
Facebook scrubs the metadata before it uploads. All major social media do this.
@@fluffyspark798 not only, all major image hosting services do this... and have been doing it for the past 20 years for some.
@@KahruSuomiPerkele Not for blogs and raw files.
Why would you want to stalk someone on Instagram/facebook?
Just don't post your photos on the internet, it's that simple
I would love it if people would fucking stop using the peak of technological capabilities to build tools for enabling stalkers
??? Bro stupid take, so we shouldn't use technology to build weapons, matter of fact, neither knives as bad actors can use them to hurt people? absolutely deranged take, don't use social media if you're that scared. Or better yet just be anonymous, which is and would be much better for everyone.
So the police shouldn't locate a suspect's face from CCTVs around the city in a shorter span?
