Amazing video! I love almost everything about this. When it's time for me to choose a cat, I need to be able to look at the water from my bed. Anything else is a non starter.
Love the regular rig with the overlapping jib! It just makes more sense. No compression post in the middle of the saloon and the boat gets up to speed easier. Funny how a self tacking jib wich is meant to make sailing easier, is actually much harder to set correctly for decent performance. On top of that, the genoa winch is electric as standard so tacking is still super easy
What's important is how comfortability is when it travels & in stationary position in ocean turbulences water and speed over ground and electrical power to sustain living...
Hi Frog, Thanks for your comment, interestingly this gullwing bridgedeck shape is designed to reduce the impact from hull slap. It works well and greatly reduces the impact of the inevitable waves on the bridge deck compared to a flat design bridge deck. This also gives is more volume in the hull for sevices, anchore chain and the like. Joe
@JoeFox_TMGYachts hi Joe, I have crossed the Atlantic on both the Lsgoon 45 and 50, and have delivered many of the other brands extensively for 2 decades and 250k nm, the Lagoons slamming is by far the worst, it even bangs and crashes in downwind conditions, the "pod" enhances this rather than reduce it, no substitute for decent bridgedeck clearance.
This is the best and most detailed Lagoon 43 review on YT
Thank you! We love to hear it!
Immaculate review Joe as always, well done lad!!

This will be a huge hit I assume! I really like it at least 😃
Very n.i.c.e.🎉🎉🎉
Id love an actual sailing review
Coming soon!
I hope the new lagoon 46 has the same amazing design lines as the Lagoon 43
I see it still has that ghastly 70's era Prout slam enhancing pod under the bridgedeck 😢
