I started watching SU Basketball in 1969 at Manley Field House. And Jim Boeheim since 1976. Thanks for all the memories Jim and all the great players you coached at Syracuse. 🍊
Been following SU basketball when Roy Danforth left in 1976. Boeheim took over on April 5th, 1976. The "Bouie & Louie Show" started soon after. This has been one MAGNIFICENT coaching runs in ALL of Sports! Congratulations to YOU Jim!. and best in your retirement. Here is a short video on Bouie and Louis: ua-cam.com/video/uk7h1IWzF8Y/v-deo.html
I think it would have been fitting for Boeheim to retire last year when his two boys graduated SU. *Boeheim, in the Basketball Hall of Fame, said his one regret was his loss as a senior in high school in 1962 at Lyons, NY to East Rochester - two undefeated teams in Section V AA - a game that went to OT before the largest crowd in the history of the Rochester War Memorial.* (ER went undefeated the next season and won the Section V title again - the only team to repeat - so don't feel bad Jim).

Would have been great to see Jim walk out hand in hand with Bernie Fine and the 'ball boys' from the 80's singing kumbaiah......

Old Jimmy FINALLY pulled the trigger on the career ending....GOOD! and long overdue. Should have happened about 12 years ago, but what the hay....
anyone else laugh about the orange mascot at the press conference
Yes LOL i was dying of laughter watching Otto just stand there
Hilarious
Yes it was pretty 🤣🤣 but can we bring back the Saltine Warrior??!!!! 💪 Think we need a mascot change too!
I thought it was only in movies that people said.."You can't fire me,I quit!"
Jim I hope you're right about Autry....
Why didn’t he resign on his own?
Selfish greed.
Without Juli,I don't believe Jim goes to the last final 4s and wins a National Championship... Just Sayin...
